Would not recommend meals served cold staff rude meals left on table for guests that hadn't arrived when asked staff 2 take back they just ignore soft drinks not cold when we ask for manger shd was not interested no apologies if ur not a local they treat u like a outcast

Food was served cold. Food was also served to empty seats and wasn’t allowed to be held until people arrived. Manager was extremely hostile, while arguing pointed at several guests at our table, our table was ignored by staff we had to ask several time just for our drinks. 0/10 would not recommend.

Comfortable local pub with a good, varied menu and well-stocked bar. Staff are very friendly and service is excellent.

Service was very good but unfortunately the food (lasagne) was luke warm it was not busy for food when we were in so no excuse for it not being hot. The pub was also very cold with us and other sitting with jackets on.....hope it will be better next time!

Never again! Went with family who had been there previously and found ourselves in the middle of a) a large Halloween party for kids with them running all over the pub and very loud music to accompany them, absolutely no sign of control from parents!; b) the Sunday afternoon football very loud and customers enjoying the match with loud shouting c) a very large dog lying across the floor between the bar and toilets meaning it had to be stepped over to access the facilities. The food was ok although we were updated it could take some time to be served due to the kids party. We have no issue with general noise in a pub setting but this was totally unacceptable especially kids running round about us whilst trying to eat. A bit more organisation of functions would be an improvement.

Having eaten there before I booked a table for 2pm on 23/09. We waited ages for our meals to arrive despite it being quiet when we arrived and when it did I did not recognise my lasagne. It had a thick separate topping of what I believe to be a cheesy polenta. It was burnt. It was disgusting. Left more than I ate. The coffees also took ages to arrive. Won’t be visiting again.

We are moving to the area so wanted to try Lorimers and we were really pleased with our experience. Great menu much better than usual ‘pub grub’. Nice atmosphere and lovely clean toilets. Beer garden looks great too for summer! Looking forward to more visits in the future!
