This is a tough one for me because I’ve been going here for 20+ years. Me and my wife both got upset stomachs after our golden bowl last night 29/6 and it’s continued into today. Not sure if anyone else did? my wife seems to think it was the prawn crackers but I thought the chicken curry was a little odd tasting, who knows. But I’ve backed this Chinese takeaway as I said for decades despite the constant 3 week closures and extended breaks… I’m afraid over the past year or so the quality has gone down hill, the portion sizes are shrinking and the prices are up… salt and chilli crispy shredded chicken was chewy and hard, chips undercooked at times and now this so it’s farewell from us. Time to find a new weekly Chinese takeaway.

Just been in tonight 29th Jan. Won't be back food was terrible and not very warm even though I collected it and live a very short drive. Think the veg was thrown in last minute. Has to be the worst takeaway I have evere had. Sorry to the chefs and owners. Love chinese takeaways and tasted better form a frozen meal deal.

The chicken was terrible tougher than the sole on my shoe. Used to be very good but it has really went downhill seems to be school children in charge and I suppose they're having a go in the kitchen as well. Think the staff have changed along with the poor standard of cooking. If you can't get a basic curry right including the cooking of the rice you should shut up shop and try your luck at something else. Put it in the bin and settled for a plate of cornflakes. In summary not cheap for curry, but really poor quality food don't think I will waste my money there again for sure. They don't deserve even a one star. I have to give them one to post.

Omg we have just ordered for the first time and I'm absolutely blown away. We live in Erskine and been so disappointed with Chinese deliveries in our area. This one did not disappoint! So glad we have found you!!! Definitely recommend!!

Would love to give a higher rating, but a bit hit or miss at times. The problem is inconsistency. One week superb, next week poor. Portion sizes can vary significantly for same dish. Delivery service usually cold when delivered. The thing is that the quality is good, but being let down in areas that could easily be fixed.

Waited 2 hours for my delivery, and it was wrong.Mostly veg not much meat.Pearl river in erskine is definitely 100% better.Not a happy customer ? ?

Love the food here but they really need to get their takeaway service sorted, phone ahead and you still have to wait 20 minutes, after you get there at the allotted time, till it's ready. They really need to take your mobile number and phone when it's ready...
