“Took my wife here for her birthday lunch. What a great decision! ! We shared 4 half portions - which was more than enough.
The star of the show for me was the delicious, local, slow-roasted venison but we also loved the crispy monkish fillets.
Some may remember chef/owner Pete Gottgens from his Ardeonaig Hotel days - where he won a Michelin Bib Gourmand for his cooking skills.
Everything we eat was of very high quality. We will be back (despite the 3 hour return trip drive)!
