With the building split almost 50/50 between pub and restaurant, I can only imagine that the very rural area it sits in has not enough people for it to function only as a restaurant. The menu offered something for everyone, and the food was delicious. The service efficient, helpful and friendly, despite being busy. The atmosphere a little too noisy. The toilets are in the bar area, and the gents needs renovated.

Wee lunch stop while in the area on Wednesday. It was fairly busy when we arrived at 1.30 with several tables in including some large groups. Really liked the choice on the menu and the specials. Opted for the burger of the day and wasn't disappointed! The staff were friendly and the service was great. It was my daughters birthday and they helpfully prepared the cake and candles we had brought for her and presented it after our meal. It wasnt our first visit and certainly won't be our last!Parking: Large car park out front with plenty of spaces

Nice venue although quite big so unless busy it can feel somewhat oversized. Staff are friendly and food was tasty and portion sizes very good, the low points however were the drinks very very pricey e.g. £4 for a lemonade & lime, £6 for a draft pint.

We have been to the Dalmore Restaurant in Blairgowrie on several occasions with our family. In the past the food and service has always been excellent.However we very disappointed with our meal last night. The duck was over cooked and tough and the rice was so full of red chilli peppers that we couldn't eat it. Have they got a different chef we asked ourselves...Service was very slow! We were one of only two tables in the restaurant but we had to wait 40 minutes for any of our food to arrive.The children will very good considering they had to wait so long.We paid and left without ordering any dessert.Dietary restrictions: My son is gluten free and dairy free. The restaurant do not have many GF options for main course and they only had sorbet for dessert.

Randomly decided to have a visit to Blairgowrie as haven’t been there for 15 plus years. First time visiting this establishment and will definitely return. Comfortable, clean surroundings with unfussy service. Food reasonably priced. Portion size was good and food was tasty.
Heerlijk gegeten met voorgerechtjes die we hebben gedeeld. Daarna hadden we verschillende hoofdgerechten, waaronder deze fish&chips. Goede service en prima sfeer. Aanrader!

I've passed this place many times on travel through Blairgowrie but never been in, so first time visit. Food and service were excellent. Had pork and chorizo burger which was delicious. Staff were very busy with a wedding plus a large funeral plus people like us simply wanting lunch but they were very good and attentive. I'll be back. If you haven't been, give it a try

Had the nachos with peri peri chicken absolutely delicious loaded with cheese,sticky toffee pudding was a dream will definitely be back. 2 course meal for £19 really good value. Service was great.

Delicious food presented very elegantly. Friendly service - the two wait staff were very friendly. Prices are true to the quality of the food - pricey but worth it. We were warned there would be a wait as there was a table of 8 seated before us, but this wait was a very long time for a quiet service (4 other tables) which is the only reason it is a 4 out of 5. This shouldn’t put you off though as the food was worth the visit and like I said we were warned. We would visit again (just maybe not with a 10 month old in tow!)
