dont know about the rooms but burgers are 11 out of 10. ive had a lot of burgers and these are still the best ive ever had. sam with the chips; theyre the best ive ever had.Food & drinks: amazing

I can highly recommend The Old Cross Inn,staff were very friendly, atmosphere was great, the surroundings make you feel very comfortable and the beer garden is excellent.Superb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Having just moved locally we went for a family meal. Varied menu meant there was something for everyone, including small portions and a large vegan selection. All main course were delicious, not a fault in any of them. We will definitely be back

The Hotel has run down feel to it. Bedroom was spacious but ensuite toilet had no place in modern hotel. Window frame was full of rotten wood ,shower unit falling apart , from wooden floor had wet rot around shower. Food in restaurant was good but very limited selection even with specials on board. Overall not a great experience.Food & drinks: Just not great.

The food is lovely and there is an extensive vegan menu. The vegan macaroni is very good. Soya milk is available on request to take up to your room for tea/coffees. Room decor is nice in the inn.Only downside I could point out is that the shower head needed a good scrub as was a bit mouldy, and the mattress was very hard. But the Old Cross is always our 'go too' for a casual meal.
Stayed here a couple times now and will be back, Staff and owners really friendly, rooms clean, nice little Beer Garden and absolutely fantastic Food really really nice and good choice. Bar really nice and locals very friendly. Cannot Fault it

Just had a lovely lunch here. Very impressed and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and attentive too. My daughter has a dairy allergy so it was a breath of fresh air to go somewhere with so much choice for her. Will definitely be back and would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoyed our evening here with family. Lovely welcome. Staff extremely pleasant, polite and helpful. The best gluten free fish and chips, that I have had in a very long time. Gluten free scones and cakes too. Great selection of gin.
