Lovely little cafe. The coffee was delicious. They warmed my fruit scone before serving, an unexpected touch, that raised the enjoyment levels ten fold ?

Now called 'The Lair', it's a small place and very easy to drive past - you'll regret it if you do! Easy parking and with a view over the fence where the neighbour has deer (and a lot of them!). A collection of spotless clean tables, and a well stocked serving area, freshly made cakes and fancies - I do recommend the fruit scones with jam (get them warmed up - fab) - they use china teacups and saucers too! Loads of gifts and those rare things nowadays - post cards! Really friendly staff - I'd give them 5* EVERYDAY.
