Disappointed with the fish size as way more batter than the size of the piece of fish.Paid £10 for fish and chips so even during these hard times I would expect a decent sized piece of fish for that price!Good chips though.

I phoned ahead to ask about which oil they use. They use vegetable oil, but advised me that the fish is fried with meat. They offered to fry our fish with the chips, which are separate. I really appreciated their considerate customer service and the food was delicious.Vegetarian options: They use vegetable oil for chips and will fry the fish in it as well on request.Kid-friendliness: They were lovely with our kids and gave a free drink

1st visit here and was not disappointed. Very friendly atmosphere, generous portion sizes and very tasty. Chips how I like them , with a bit of colour, and home made potato fritters and onion rings. Thanks we will be back!Parking: Car park opposite

Welcomed and invited to sit whilst choosing from menu. Good choice of food. Option to sit in or takeaway. Decided to eat in, small but adequate tabled area. Very friendly and efficient staff. Food prepared on order, served in boxes and wooden cutlery provided. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Busy with constant stream of customers arriving and leaving. Chips were really tasty. Fish and spicy haggis were great, large portion sizes, really good value for money. We will be back next time we are up in Brechin.Kid-friendliness: All welcomeParking: Small car park across the main road. Road not too busy for crossing.
Just discovered this shop...love it!
