Been twice for a breakfast roll disappointed on both occasions .

This is the second time I've been here, both times at lunchtime. The first time I was told they closed at 2pm and as it was just after 1pm I was too late. The next time was today and as it was just before 1pm I was told sternly I could eat but had to be out by 1.30 as they close at 2pm. Then charged £10 for a breakfast roll and cup of tea which whilst it was very nice it wasn't worth that, especially as I had to throw it down and get out. There wasn't a single other customer in as they clearly know it's not allowed near closing time!

Worst place I have ever been, staff very rude! Didn't even ask if we sit in or take away, then we get told we can't sit because we paid for take away prices! Well we had our coffee outside in pouring rain, not recommended, zero stars

This is the best coffee in Brechin without a doubt, always excellent Very good selection of bakery goods and hot food Quick service, great friendly staff who, once they know it, will always address you by name and exchange banter when appropriate.

Sadly, I feel the expressive need to make comment on the disheartening and mediocre experience I suffered while recently visiting this establishment. My partner and I were undertaking our annual futile motor homing pilgrimage to the Brechin area, in order to detect unfound Pictish Stone fragments dating from around 900AD. Regrettably, we found this local cafe we happened to stumble upon and to say a 'tainted' experience, was an understatement. My partner ordered for us 2 Lorne Rolls and 2 tins of Coca Cola beverage, and to our utter bewilderment, the total of said items came to approximately £15! Now, we do not grudge paying a little more for our chosen items when the customer experience is beyond the realms but regrettably, the 2 members of staff we dealt with appeared to be very glum, wanting to hurry us along out of the shop and the only 'fragments' we ended up finding on our entire trip were the 2 preposterously small pieces of Lorne we discovered on our rolls. Henceforth, we meandered across to the bakery across the road, where we found we could get more produce for our money and treated ourselves to a couple of fantastic little Empire Biscuits, decorated with the most pleasant 'smiley' faces on them, for our roadside layby picnic on the way home.

Have to agree with the last review, non friendly, no atmosphere, over £9 for one coffee and two buns, no receipt offered, just that is £9.10

Friendly service, good coffee. Cakes are standard Scottish bakery sugary carb fests!

Popped In for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. Served quickly. I had a bacon roll and flat white which the price is very reasonable.( Also special offer). Cafe clean. Staff very efficient and friendly. Very helpful. Would highly recommend. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.
