Excellent lounge bar which apart from having some unusual beers/Cider also offers an excellent food menu. The food is really good, and both the Steak pie and haddock are highly recommended.

I had lunch here and was very impressed. with the quality of the food, the attentive friendly staff and the promptness of the service. Had the seafood linguine which was excellent along with a glass of pleasant pinot grigio. Staff were very attentive and service was prompt and staff pleasant. I wasn't driving but there is a nice spacious car park outside. Prices very reasonable. Recommended

I had sweet and sour chicken but it was inedible as the chicken was undercooked. OH had steak pie and said the pastry was brick hard. Veg was good, drinks were cold, service was first class

Visited the stables on sunday evening and had a lovely meal. I had chicken stroganoff with 1/2 & 1/2 chips & rice and my partner had the special of the day, chicken with black pudding & both were generous helpings and really delicious.The staff are really helpful & friendly too. We'll definitely be back.
