I'm a big foodie, and love coffee, unfortunately today the cakes were dry, and the coffee tasted strange. I think the place needs some ambience, some background music maybe as it seemed cold and soulless all I could hear was the clinking of soup spoons and others people's conversations. Some wood flooring and a better colour scheme, some nicer chairs and wood tables would also help.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch, we had sandwich with free soup, sandwiches were lovely, freshly made, generously filled, the soup-mushroom was delicious. We also had cake from a selection and a hot drink each. Staff are very friendly. Our 1st visit but will definitely be back!Parking: plenty of parking in car park and on the streets nearby.

Welcoming atmosphere plus a log burner warming the cafe. Soup of the day and panini were excellent. Lovely spot for a light lunch.

Tasty cafe food served in the old railway station waiting room. Lovely log fire going and pleasant servers who know about the food that they serve. The soup and a sandwich deal is a perfect light lunch and the tray bake selection is excellent. Fully recommend a visit if you are in Brechin.

We had the soup and sandwich combo which was lovely. During November there is a small soup free with a sandwich. Great cakes
