We had a great meal in this excellent restaurant. They serve what they call 'Scottish Tapas', letting you try lots of different dishes with a Scottish slant. There are Meat, Fish and Vegetarian options with lots of side dishes and all of the ones we chose were delicious. And the waiting staff were helpful, efficient and charming. Would go again at the drop of a hat.

I was extremely impressed by Eighteen69. As a vegetarian I had a huge amount of choice, and it was fantastic to see such creative vegetarian/vegan items on the menu instead of the usual. Watermelon sashimi with wasabi foam! I was in heaven. The restaurant has an extremely attentive allergen policy too.Service was impeccable. Some of the best I've ever had. Let me give an example: a lady with limited mobility got up from her seat, and without hesitating the waitress passing her table offered the lady her arm and walked her to the bathroom. I was speechless! Everyone I encountered was wonderful.Vegetarian options: Half the menu is vegetarian/veganDietary restrictions: Excellent allergen protocol

Waiting staff were very friendly and efficient (we had Christie, she was really nice) and the food was outstanding. Would definitely come again.

The restaurant is located in the resort in a conservatory overlooking some of the gardens. Idyllic. The service was quick and efficient and served with a genuine smile. As a Scottish Tapas restaurant I was so looking forward to something really different and interesting. For me, it didn't work. The portions were incredibly small and tasteless. The biggest disappointment was "stovies in broon sauce". I have to assume that the chef has never eaten traditional stovies before, or he/she was just trying to be too clever. I'm not really sure what it was meant to be. I had a dessert which was beautiful, not because I really needed one, rather because I was still hungry!.

Delicious small plates in a lovely scottish hotel. We were impressed by the quantity of vagatarian and vegan options available! High quality food and the service was fab. Massive thank you to Sophie at reception who managed to get us a late night taxi back to our lodgings!

Been once before and there was a dog friendly area. Booked ahead online this time and was shown to the dog friendly lounge, which was basically a room with a couch in it. The dogs ended up in the car as that was a completely unsuitable place to enjoy tapas. Front of house was a bit snippy about it and suggested we move to brambles. In the end we ate there. Food and rest of staff lovely. Leave the dog at home!

So good we went two nights in a row inviting friends over who were staying elsewhere. Food was excellent, very well cooked with skill and intelligence. The watermelon sashimi a revelation. The whole experience on both nights enhanced and improved by our server Kevin

Sadly underwhelmed and disappointed at this return visit . A few good dishes; wood pigeon, salmon platter, spicy garlic prawns and haggis Scotch egg and Mac and cheese without black pudding for the children but other dishes disappointing. Cullen skink fish badly filleted and bony, sticky chicken very dry and overdone, cheesy beanos toast burnt and a bit dry, stovies served as two very small balls of meat and potato deep fried and overdone . The restaurant is a conservatory and there were no windows or doors open on our arrival so the temperature was uncomfortably hot - we couldn’t stay a moment longer than main courses . Do appreciate the weather was unusually hot but it had been for some time and fans or AC units in a hotel that prides itself on customer care and comfort could have been installed Not the best of dining experiences .

We had a gorgeous meal at eighteen69, we ate in the beautiful lounge area with our dog on a sofa and decent sized coffee table which was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and attentive and squeezed us in at the last minute due to some booking confusion. The food was incredible - we had all of the vegan options between 2 of us and even ordered a second serving of the vegan burnt ends, which were incredible! This place certainly has the best vegan selection we found on the island, and we loved every dish!Lastly, the bar staff were incredible, from delicious cocktails, friendly chat, and an excellent selection of local beers and spirits.Overall, we're so glad we stumbled on eighteen69 and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone and will certainly be making a return visit next time we visit Arran. Other reviews have criticised the pricing, but for the quality of the food and service we would have paid more.Vegetarian options: Excellent vegan and vegetarian selection, which can be difficult to find with tapas.
