Great place to take children and has a nice family feel to the place. Staff could not be anymore friendly and made us feel relaxed and welcomed. Would definitely recommend! ?

The food was good and staff were really accommodating. One of the portions of chips we ordered wasn't hot, so they replaced them for us with piping hot ones. Would come again!

First class fish tea, generous portions but it doesn't come cheap !

We experienced the worst fish and chips ever in this place. The fish was like plastic coated, chips were not cooked properly. The bread not fresh, the only reason for not raising the roof was because of bad news from a hospital visit earlier and, this treat was to cheer us up. So could not cope with a confrontation. DON'T GO TO THIS VILE PLACE. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK AND HAVE PASSED IT ON BELIEVE ME.??

Wanted to experience a real fish tea at the seaside. The price was nearly double what they charge in the chippy next door. When I ordered, bill totalling over £50, I asked if they had rolls so I could make a chip butty. The owner replied, no, we have them in the chippy but they will be sold out by now. So rather than have the stale bread that had been presented to us I went to the coop and bought rolls. Next thing the owner is telling us off like we are children and accusing us of ripping him off! I had paid a high price for the privilege and wanted something with my expensive dinner that they could not offer! By this time my daughter was mortified and I could tell she was really uncomfortable and stopped eating. Next thing, he's back again giving me another mouthful! He is so rude! We had waited over 30 minutes for the food which I would like to say was lovely, but didn't justify the cost. But left with a very sour taste after the treatment we received from the owner. If I had been eating something they supplied but that I had brought in myself I could see the point, but that wasn't the situation! And in all fairness it could have been handled far better than the public berating we had to endure

Lovely place to enjoy tea with the kids.Huge portions of chips, lovely fish and friendly staff. Children always welcomed and never crazy busy.

We popped in today after going for a walk in Ravenscraig on the fife costal path to West Wemyss to see the seals. The food comes from the chippy next door but you get to sit in and have a drink. The service was fantastic and the food was great a medium fish supper includes 2 pieces of fish 10/10.

Absolutely shocking attitude from staff, unwelcoming and abrupt. The owner was also very rude as he approached our table and forcefully told a member of our party not to have another open drink container that hadn't been purchased in his establishment. Food was below par and the 1 year old child at the table behind had been given a juice box which expired 5 years ago dated February 2017.. AVOID AT ALL COST

Went for steak night but extremely disappointed. Asked for medium steak but was more rare.Few soggy chips, hard peas and two underdone soggy onion rings. No salad as advertsed. Food was also cold. Asked for a prosecco and was told had no cold ones . Was given small one off top shelf behind bar but when I opened it it was completely flat and very yellow so I think it must have been on the shelf a long while! Lady opened big bottle which again came from top shelf so was not cold but was bubbly. Can't believe there was no bottles in wine fridge. Sticky toffee pudding was good though. Seeing as there was just one other couple in the restaurant there really was no excuse for steak meal being so poor as kitchen not rushed. Won't be rushing back!!!
