Lovely pub in my partner's home town, after walking the dogs along the coast a while on Boxing Day, so we weren't able to sample the food. A bit of a trip down memory lane for him. ?

Was in for lunch last week and can honestly say food was lovely and obviously home made.Place did lack a bit atmosphere then again it was only mid-day. Will certainly return.

Nice friendly pub with a cosy atmosphere owing to their lovely fire. Good choice of food reasonably priced cooked to perfection. Staff are first class and nothing is too much trouble.

dropped in for dinner with friend. placed order at bar with barmaids explanations. food arrived at table soup was supposed to be lentil but it was actually broth and stock tasted awful ony had a couple of sips to try could not eat garlic bread with cheese was supposed to be mozerella but it was red cheddar instead did not enjoy. haggis bon bons with whisky sauce were ok. shared with friend. had steak pie for main was good. icecream to follow. chef came out explained barmaids mistake and menu needs to be updated. do not think would go back.

Great wee pub, visited for the first time yesterday, we were in a big group and had been on a bus trip /stag do. The Foresters Arms was our final stop on the way back to Edinburgh and we were welcomed with no issues considering there were about 25 of us!We didn't have food so I cant offer a rating but the service ,staff and atmosphere were all excellent.I would definitely return.
