What a gem! Dogs welcome, great pizzas and incredible beers and ales! My wife and I along with our little sausage dogs had a lovely time, the owner even sat down with us when I asked what he recommended for beers, truly someone who cares! Will most definitely be back and cannot wait to try the jazz band night every month!

A warm cosy little micro brewery. The staff are friendly and there's often a real cosy fire to sit next to and enjoy one of their always changing selection of beers. Pints are a decent price, dogs are welcome and folk and chatty, it's a great hang out spot.

I booked a table for my birthday and I was really looking forward to it. But when I arrived there with 7 people I was told there were no table for us. I showed the messages confirming the booking and the owner said he “didn’t know what to say, he must have messed up” and that he could do nothing. I pointed to a table emptied and he said it was booked for “another group”. It was very upsetting and it really ruined my day as we could not book any other place for my birthday at such short notice. No good apologies given either.

Came here for the brewery tour and tasting as a birthday gift, and the beer and cider are really great. The brewery is really tucked away off the main road but it's really a nice spot and it has a lot of character. The beer is barrel conditioned, if I'm remembering the term right, so it's not as carbonated as a typical beer. The red rye has been my favorite. The pizza is delicious, also vegan options, and we have to make it back there to try the green beer, a seasonal favorite.

Great atmosphere great beers and the most friendly staff, Douglas is a great host and is only too proud to show off the brewery, his ale's are second to none in my opinion and I have tasted craft beer from the length and breadth of Scotland and this is my go to place every time.Parking: Better parking around the back or use the riverside car park
