They have a good selection of gluten free options, and cater for coeliac disease (including breakfast rolls and fish and chips). It was quite a cold day when we visited, and the room struggled to warm up a bit, but we noticed they filled tables by the fire and radiators first, to keep people cosy enough.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options prepared safely for those with coeliac disease.

Came in as missed bus n said open til 6pm.had fish n chips which were poor, good coffee, OK but not great cake. At 5.15 when last other table left, decided they wanted to close early. Made clear wanted me to leave n not serve me. Vacuumed around me-I'd come in n spent £26 as open til 6pm when bus due. Poor unfriendly service-would not recommend.

We've stopped in here twice this week for lunch whilst staying in Strathyre and wandering around Callander. Staff are fabulous and very attentive. The food is absolutely beautiful; hubby had the Festive OB Burger which will not disappoint, and the Brussel sprout on top was a great topper. I had the rarebit open top sandwich the first visit, which was scrumptious, then had the smoked cheddar sandwich with celeriac soup on the second visit. Again, food was absolutely exceptional. Christmas decor and roaring fire also add a lovely festive touch. Would definitely recommend and we will most definitely be back again.

Best Hot Chocolate in Scotland. Just had a cooked breakfast before heading to the station on our way home. Excellent. Thank you
My food came out raw, the staff wasn’t very helping or pleasant, food was alright when it came back

I had lunch at the Old Bank today with some friends. The food is wonderful, fantastic quality and beautifully served. Great coffee and really good cakes. Lots of room at the tables and very nice service. I wouldn’t eat anywhere else in Callendar. Thank you, ladies!

Peter and I had coffee and cream scones here. It was quite acceptable apart from the strawberry jam which was edible but unpleasant. Whoever had made it had been distracted while adding the setting agent and we were served a translucent, seedless, insipid, gelatinous red goo.Service was good - in fact three waitresses tried to take our order in the first five minutes which says a lot for staff morale and enthusiasm or, more likely, the ladies were hoping to impress Peter who is a finely chiselled Adonis and an infamous babe magnet.Coffee was good and the ambiance was excellent if you’re a pensioner with a hearing aid.3 out of 5 from the Scone Rangers.

Went in with our two dogs, there is a separate section if ypu wnat to take your dogs in. The lady (sorry, forgot to take her name but she has six dogs) who came to get our order was amazing. Friendly, professional service that put a smile on our face and us at ease straight away. We ordered the open steak sandwich and it was delicious. Plenty of steak on soft bread with crusty sides and horseradish sauce, topped with the best red onion chutney. No stinginess in portion size and everything was fresh. Value for money as well. Went into the main restaurant to pay and even though it was really busy I was greeted with a smile. Will definitely go back.
