What a nice place! I’ve been there for a resourceful rest on our way to Glencoe.The food is tasteful, the beer is refreshing, and the people there are great! I’ve had the pleasure to be served by Simon and Megan, two very nice people to who I wish the best!

Lovely carpark right next to river, just had (steak & black pudding pie, wife had chicken & leek) greggs shut, your only get wot u pay for, lol

Been going on and off for years but can honestly say this time was the best ... Simon and John the hosts ..what can I say totally amazing guys professional but so friendly and welcoming . Nothing was too much for them and they made our weekend special as we celebrated a birhday and an anniversary. Service was amazing from the food to the drinks. Never felt more at home. Karaoke night altho I can’t sing we throughly enjoyed the entertainment. Highlight was Hunter wow what a beautiful dog ?. We will be back for sure as they made our weekend.

Had some pub grub & a good laugh with the guys behind the barFour main things we enjoyed.1. The 2 lads begind the bar2. Oscar & Hunter (read the end of my review)3. Juke box music4. The lady(customer) dancing/miming to " I feel like a woman" by Shania Twain she/that impressed me much" !We had a good couple of hours relaxing.I am sure it will be ever better during the summer & I wish the the Lads all the best.OK... about Oscar & Hunter 2 superb dogs who had us both laughing. Everytime the bar was left to collect glasses the 2 dogs would stand up on the "dog" gate waiting for their "Dad's" to come back behind the bar.Have a visit I am sure you wont be disappointed & that you will have a great time.

Me and my partner were in Callendar for a family wedding. We made the Riverside Inn our local due to the hospitality and just overall friendly welcome from the staff, especially Simon. Simon and his partner John made our stay a million times better than we could ever have expected. Drinks and food in the Riverside were amazing, we even stayed an extra night due to these 2 guys, just to enjoy another day in this amazing place, so thank you Simon and John for your amazing welcome. We will be back soon ❤

Went in for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. Place had been done up to a very high standard and was very clean. Only went in for a drink but decided to eat while we were there. Staff were very helpful advised us we got a free drink with anything from the grill or a main meal. There was a 40 minute wait for food we were fine with that was only 2.30 so 10 past 3 was ok. Unfortunately food didn’t get served to us until 3.40 I did enquire at 3.30 was told they were waiting on the fish ?? .and they were short staffed. On arrival looked like any other frozen fish would like to know what they were waiting on.?????? People who came in after us were served before us but hey ? they never ordered fish ? My husband ordered chicken tikka he would have got a bigger portion with a supermarket microwave meal. He got a bag of chips when we came out. So well done guys place looks great and front of house service was friendly and efficient. But whatever the reason we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for food won’t bring customers back I did hear other people asking for a refund. So if you are really short staffed don’t try and provide a service you are not able to deliver.Just serve snacks. And maybe tell people how long the fish will take

Keg ale. No food on when we went in. Roomy and bright but that's about it. The landlord couldn't wait to chuck us out at 1:30 for a closing time of 14:00

We had a lovely meal here loads of choices for vegetarians. Very clean quick service and friendly attentive staff. Ideal for us with a baby in a high chair on our way back to Edinburgh after a lovely wee break in Callander. Definitely recommend
