I didn't enjoy my meal. I can see it's actually a nice looking place with nice staff but I could hardly eat the fish and chips today. Feel a bit naughty leaving one star but I was basically staring at the chip shop opposite thinking shoulda tried that instead.

We stayed 4 nights and my friends room was not cleaned once even though she asked the boy to do it.breakfast was the worse I've ever had the square sausage was grey in colour scrambled egg over done,only one of 4 ate their breakfast as he got a fresh made omelette. Bar staff lovely new year party great fun,but won't b back.
Popped in for something to eat 11/02/24, I don’t know if it’s a change of chef, but the food this time has took a down turn, it’s always be sooo nice. Love this place and the area, I also met the resident spook in the women’s loo, only me in there and the hand dryer came on, didn’t bother me as I love the paranormal. Wooooooooooo.

The pub itself is very cosy and was beautifully decorated for christmas. However the food was not really our cup of tea, it was a bit greasy and not the right flavour. Would go back for a drink and the atmosphere, but not for the food.
