My wee girl loves this place... thought I would treat her tonight but when I turned up it was closed and can't get any response when calling :( where did you go steakhouse?

I was visiting from the States last week & absolutely loved this hidden gem of a restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our two T-bones with the Cowboy butter. The head chef even came out & asked us if we enjoyed everything & we told him yes, & that we wished we lived closer! You'd see us everyday. Well done to Coulotte, thank you!

Wow! What an experience that was. Ordered chilli nachos and the chilli was fridge temperature so sent them back and they were replaced warm but the chilli was bolognaise with some weird flavour that added the mildest of spice - very strange taste I can’t quite describe it I took 1 piece and shoved it away it was awful. Then I got the Mexi Burger and it was literally raw and my wife’s buttermilk chicken was that burnt it crumbled into pieces when she touched it. We got up left the 2 full meals and were charged £45 for the utter joke of a meal that we never touched. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but the fact they charged me for the full meal that none of us even had a mouthful of made me decide I had to leave on. Waitress was extremely nice. The chefs I dunno if it was a bad day for them but if they don’t see why the food was sent back then the place is doomed. I guarantee you we won’t be the only folk unhappy with it the food. Poor waitress was lovely it’s a shame about the food. I’d not eat in here if they were the only place that had food. Avoid this place. We came home for a takeaway.

Menu completely cut to the bone, and a lot of that not available. I should have been advised of this when booking. For a steakhouse to have no ribeye no sirloin and to push remaining fillet up to £40, is outrageous. From the very limited menu, I had a Chicken burger, which was cremated. I had to chip all coating off to be able to eat any of it.

We’ve been to Couldttes twice before and liked it. Waitress was very helpful and answered all the questions on the menu and the steaks. We all decided to have pork ribs, but were advised there was only enough for one person to have a full rack. As it was only 5.15 you would not expect a steakhouse to run out of ribs so early. As it turned I was glad they only had enough for one person. I ordered one portion for myself and I don’t know what kind of ribs they were but they weren’t pork. They had very big bones and unfortunately tasted horrible. Full of fat In fact 70% was fat. Inedible The rest of the food which were Burgers was good apart from the onion rings The onion rings were soggy and not crispy. Unfortunately as I did not eat the ribs I won’t be back.

Service was good but a little slow, steak was cook to my liking but was way under seasoned, chips were good, the Mac and cheese needs more seasoning and more cheese. It was just like a rue and pasta. Maybe add some cheese on top and finish off in the grill

We attended here for the first time on the recommendation of family who live nearby. Turned out to be spot on in their judgement! I noticed in some reviews that the staff were not well trained or knowledgeable! I have to completely disagree, the front of house were very knowledgeable, professional and attentive. The food was great, a Tomahawk for two, ribeye and fillet. All cooked precisely, great accompanying sauces and terrific chips! Desserts very good. Wine very reasonably priced, as was the total bill. Great addition to the local hospitality scene. Well done all, we will most definitely be returning soon!

My Fiance & I had the BEST steak ever here last weekend. Waiting staff couldn't do more to make us feel welcome & we were taken care of, chefs in the kitchen we're happy & animated with customers & you can tell they are proud of the food they produce. Got a sharing platter for 2 was excellent.Plenty of food took a couple burgers home was that much and still stuffedLiked it that much Christmas vouchers for everyone have been purchased

Christmas Day I was there last year was beautiful went this year with my family and was absolutely disgusting was charged 238 pound I don’t mind paying the money but I ain’t a chef but I could make a much nicer dinner than that wouldn’t have fed that to my dog definitely would not recommend avoid at all costs will not ever be back on Christmas Day ?

ordered a Philly cheese steak... no peppers or onions in it... ordered salt n chilli chips that were just dusted in chilli powder..
totally disappointing .. won't be ordering again from place...
