Always great homemade food, love bringing friends to try it out, their lentil soup is just amazing. Cute views out the windows too!

Breakfast was nice, lovely service. The shop's Christmas displays are absolutely beautiful but unfortunately there are crazy amounts of fragrance everywhere throughout. It is completely overpowering and a serious trigger for people with asthma, migraine or allergies. The irony is there are so many you can't even smell the individual ones anyway, it is just a wall of extreme scent! We could only manage a short dash around before leaving because of this. I can only imagine they must make a lot of money from these as it never used to be that bad. Unfortunately it's put me off going back as it really was unbearable which is a shame as it's been one of the most beautiful places I go to for Christmas displays and decorations for a long time and the staff do a great job.

One of my favourite cafes in Lanark. Their food is great and never disappoints. Service is professional. Especially busy on weekends, so best to come early.

I enjoyed the cafe - ordered bacon & avocado on toast and it was pretty standard, the staff are friendly, food + drinks came out quickly and even though there was a massive queue we weren't waiting for too long. Also, it's reasonably priced. As previous posters have said there are quite a few dogs (but I guess it's subjective as to whether this is a good or a bad thing!) However, the Christmas decorations in the shop were disappointing... really expensive prices for what were (in my opinion) quite boring, low quality items. Also a very strong smell of incense / candles which was overpowering and just made me want to leave ASAP. The overall display of the items was nice though...!

Beautifully presented Christmas collection and ornaments etc. Lovely to see but would need a very large house for a lot of the trees , garlands etc. Very expensive for most items. Toilets only available in the cafe which wasn’t very practical as there was a long queue outside which was not very practical in the pouring rain, so just abandoned the idea.

Both me and my dog were made to feel incredibly welcome, the staff and other patrons were all super nice, it's a shame I don't live closer or I would be a regular customer!

This is a lovely place to have coffee and a bite to eat. The restaurant is situated within the stunning surroundings of the local Clyde Valley area and within it’s own garden centre with some beautiful plants on show. You have the option of dining inside in very pleasantly decorated area or outside on the balcony. Food is very good especially the French toast, avocado on sourdough, soups, tasty sandwiches , fish and chips and venison sausage etc take your pick, I’ve probably eaten most of the items on the menu and they have all been top quality – coffee is really good, and the staff and service are great. After lunch you can visit the garden centre and shop to look at some exceptionally attractive and pricey items .Dog friendly and highly recommended

Great coffee and cake. Lively to sit out on the balcony and see the view. Quick service, spotlessly clean and staff very helpful.

Had to leave restaurant/ coffee shop early due to the number of dogs ( 4/5 on the day of our visit ) ! On a very wet day , dogs in a restaurant are a no-no . In fact on any day , dogs in a restaurant are a no- no . Trying to enjoy coffee and snacks with the smell of dogs and barking dogs is a step too far . Watching members of staff making a fuss of the dogs ,petting them and then continuing to serve food to tables is a health and safety issue , as well as bad practice . I look forward to a response re this review .
