King's Coffee

Home from home. Always some welcoming chat where everyone joins in. Food is amazing!! Chicken & rice soup today was delicious. Im not big on home baking but you can't leave without coffee and a big bit of Sandra's gingerbread cake. My family love the lemon cake and the Christmas cake is in high demand. Would totally recommend

The Thackit is a cozy local with a fresh vibe! New management is all about a better experience, they are open to suggestions, and keen to support local talent – bands, singers, comedians, you name it! Worth a visit for a great night out.

Valley View At Gouldings

We love coming to Valley View. Lovely staff, food and play areas. New indoor part to the softplay which was great.. Outside play area at softplay under cover and great for the kids to wander. Outside park is great fun with plenty to keep the kids occupied. We love tje barrel train! Outside cost is £20 for family of 4, £19 for softplay and £30 for lunch. Areas to to eat a pack lunch under cover. Kids love the gift shop too!

Prego Restaurant Carluke

We visited a couple of weeks ago for a family birthday. There were 9 people in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent, as was the service. We will definitely be back!

Bake House Cafe

This is a great wee cafe with excellent food & service from Connor & his staff & the fact that Connor does the home baking himself is why I have given the Bake House 5 star's. We'll deserved.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available.

The Silver Birch Coffee Shop

Lovely coffee shop with lovely staff and food. However it is almost always extremely busy with a wait time of around 10 minutes if not more.
Inside is warm and comfortable with a friendly atmosphere but small and noisy. The noise level makes it difficult to hear conversations.

The Railway Inn

Nice to go back to the town I grew up in in the 70s and have pint in a pub that my parents used to drink in. Good selection of beers and a reasonable price and great to see it busy on a Saturday afternoon.

Taal Restaurant

If you like Indian food you won’t be disappointed! We have only visited the restaurant once and it was awesome, great food and service but had a few takeaways as well and never had a bad meal.
These people seriously know how to cook proper, authentic Indian food! (not many that we’ve tried in this area do) thanks for a great service. ?

Clyde Walkway Cafe

A group of us were walking with our dog along the Clyde Walkway and we needed some lunch. The cafe was very welcoming, including to Meg the Labrador (water was provided and biscuits were offered.) We enjoyed our soup and sandwiches, the prices were reasonable, and the facilities were clean. Well done to the friendly and helpful people working there!

Food was top notch will definitely be coming back. pizza was fresh, had a generous amount of topping and was cooked to perfection and lovely staff??Dietary restrictions: Halal!

Excellent cafe food with generous portions at a good price point. Love the different daily specials. Great to visit for a lunch out, especially if you’re at the farm shop and garden centres.

Greggs

Great service from staff at Greggs Carluke, had to wait 15 minutes for fresh steak bakes and staff were amazing offering a free coffee for the wait. Nice touch from the staff.

Capital Inn Carluke

Brilliant munchie box! Fan-dabby-dosey!!! Even threw in a free main cause we were spending over £30. The owner was really rice and friendly when I collected. Will definitely revisit when I’m back in the Luke. 10/10

China Cuisine Carluke

Just had our second visit to this amazing restaurant and I just had to take the time to post this review as the food was incredible. This restaurant should be full every night as it’s one of the best Chinese Restaurants we have tried in a long time, Service was also first class , we even met the chef himself which added to the fantastic experience . We thoroughly recommend trying this restaurant, I’m sure you wont be disappointed. Beware however , the portions are huge ???

Relish

I took one star off because a member of staff will quite rude to me and skammed my food on the counter, also very impatient, wish I got her name, blonde hair and glasses. However the other staff are always friendly and the food is amazing. Great choices and really clean place.

Sahara Takeaway

Used Sahara for our 18th Party. From ordering to delivering no problem. Food was delivered on time also hot and people complimented on how tasty food was. Definitely recommend for a function ☆☆☆☆☆

The Buttery Coffee Shop

During the Christmas season it, like many of the coffee shops in the Clyde valley, has been very busy. At least a twenty minute wait. Even so, it’s a great coffee shop and worth the weight. Inside the decor and ambience easily makes it the best coffee shop in the whole of the Clyde Valley. The food, the staff and the overall atmosphere is excellent. We keep going back which must be a sign that we like the place.

Mr Rice carluke

Honestly can’t fault this Chinese takeaway! This is the 3rd time I have ordered food and each time has been amazing. Portions are massive and price is very reasonable, very quick at getting orders out also

China Chef (Curry House)

The special chow mein was very good, the garlic and chilli chicken balls not so good, very greasy and lacked something.overall the food is fine. I would eat from here again.

Subway

This subway is fantastic. They are always so careful with my allergies and have the friendliest of staff. Special shoutout to Abrar, Zaman, Shaxjeel and Adeel who always go above and beyond.

Tandoori Palace Carluke

I have been a customer at the Tandoori Palace since moving to Law village 26 years ago.
Never had a bad meal or reason to complain. Definitely recommend.

Portion sizes reducing and prices going up!The food however is very good and the service is great. Chi Ken tika kebabs are superb and love the Pizza, make it crispy on the bottom while still juicey on top. ????But!I Still can't understand why we need to pay for a paper bag to take your food away. It's only plastic bags you need to pay extra for so this doesn't seem right.Making a fortune just from the bags they sell now. ???
