The food is good but not worth waiting 3 hours for and being repeatedly lied to about it being en route. This restaurant takes your money under the pretence that they can deliver at a reasonable time then lies and says they can do nothing about it as they’re so busy. Well, you can, you can set realistic delivery times, hire more drivers or reject orders you can’t fulfil in a timely manner. Instead, Shimla take your money, lie and you can like it or lump it…

Went in for a wee change tonight so happy i did.The starters where lovely pakora fried to perfection the mainsBEST LAMB BHUNA I HAVE EVER TASTEDMy wife for the chicken Tika masala which she loved.staff where amazing too very helpful and friendly.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Was here for Christmas Dinner 25/12/23. Well where do I start on arrival it was very busy and unable to get seated as the staff were still setting tables it was extremely cold and the door was constantly being left open and a vast number of patrons outside in the rain! We were booked for 6pm and not seated until 6.20pm. Then our order was not taken until 6.35 and our starter not served until 7pm. Bearing in mind we were meant to be out for 8pm. Drinks were extortionate too. Main course not served till 7.45 and at this point patrons at the bottom of the restaurant were already finished and leaving!!! A distinct difference in service from the bottom to the top. Dessert was supposed to be hot fudge cake and was in fact chocolate cake with cheap ice cream. The main was meant to be lamb with port and was no trace of port at all!! The food was Meticore and the service chaotic. Won't be back ever it cost £120 wasn't worth anything near that ?

Here for Christmas day lunch and it was absolutely amazing, the food and service is second to none and they always go above and beyond to serve every single customer and work so hard to achieve this. I will continue to eat here every time we are in coatbridge,there is no other restaurant comes close to food and service. Thank you to all the staff x
