Food as always is amazing this is our favourite Indian restaurant, and always tell people how good they are. We were in berwick tnyt and got an Indian from magna tandoori and oh my goodness I wish we hadn't it was awful and greasy. We are gonna have to have a curry from here very soon ro put a smile on our faces again. Lol. The owners are fantastic lovely people if I go in myself my 2 girls still always get a lolly even if they aren't with me. They are just so kind, amd do amazing food. I can't wait for our next Indian takeaway.

Been a while since we tried here, but decided to give it another go.The place was dead, but I came for a takeaway. Bit slow getting it out and considering there was only me, that was a but oddMy daughter liked the naan and her veggie masala, my partner liked her biryani but I was a bit underwhelmed with the jalfrezi... Two out of three.Good fall back place.

Excellent food, really friendly staffVegetarian options: I always have Saag Paneer as a main (creature of habit & I love it) but there are vegetarian options for the more traditional dishes.Parking: On street parking can occasionally be a challenge but most of the time there isn't a problem & there is a carpark opposite.

Booked a table for 3 at this restaurant for 18.30 on Saturday 16th December as a celebration for my wife’s birthday. When we arrived we were shown to a table which hadn’t even been set. We were given takeaway menus and a short time later offered poppadoms. I had to ask for drinks. It was some considerable time later when our order was taken and we did not get served with starters for an hour. My wife’s cousin had to ask for another glass of wine as we were not offered any other drinks. The main course finally arrived at 20.30 by which time my wife was unable to eat much of her meal and asked for it to be packed up so she could take it home. Throughout the time we were at the restaurant there was a continuous flow of takeaways from the kitchen to customers . Obviously takeaways are more important to sit in customers at this restaurant. Will never go there again.

Visited while I was away for a few days with my family to Coldstream. We went as they opened so it was very quiet to start with but it soon changed with returning customers coming to enjoy some of the lovely food. Staff were lovely and the food even more so. The phone was going constantly with people calling to order food for collection as they do not deliver. Lovely flavours and good quality ingredients used in the food.
We visited this curry house, and had great food, good service and decent portion sizes and at a reasonable price. £15 for a decent bottle of Merlot. Previous comments are misleading .. Al's Top Tips. This is the only curry house in the area and have great Gluten Free options. Lamb Buna and Lamb Madras with Special rice and garlic naan were all good.

Great food I had tikka masala it was real nice but could have at bigger amount of chicken but would recommend if your in the coldstream area in Scottish

This meal was the by far the best curry we've had in a while. We were on holiday in the area, never been to Coldstream before. Clean and comfortable surroundings. Staff were beyond lovely and helpful. I can't remember the last time I was surprised by a curry, they can all become a little samey but I was delighted with what we had. I spoke with the cheff to try get some pointers for making a curry at home and he was so very helpful and you could see he was bursting with pride that his food was enjoyed so much. Loved seeing his passion for his profession. We will return ...might not be for a few months as from Sheffield but we will definitely go back!!
