Selection of soup, sandwich and special options for lunch; along with some delicious home baking and coffee. Not fancy, but very good. All at a very reasonable price. Really friendly and efficient service from the staff.

I stopped by by chance, on my way through Coldstream on Sunday the 25th of February 2024. I called in just for a coffee. We had a lovely chat. My granddaughters absolutely love the two brooches I bought from you. And my grandson loved his piece of cake. My coffee was freshly prepared and a delicious beverage. You never know I maybe coming through again one day and I will make sure I stop and have a coffee and a chat. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you. Streamers Sandwich Bar

Alistair the gentleman that looked after us was so friendly and helpful and loved our dogs !!!. The mega breakfast was amazing value for money and tasted amazing, its the best breakfast ive had in years. We got toast as a extra and nothing was a bother for him. Great place and we will come here again to try the cakes ? yum yum !!!

Food as always is amazing this is our favourite Indian restaurant, and always tell people how good they are. We were in berwick tnyt and got an Indian from magna tandoori and oh my goodness I wish we hadn't it was awful and greasy. We are gonna have to have a curry from here very soon ro put a smile on our faces again. Lol. The owners are fantastic lovely people if I go in myself my 2 girls still always get a lolly even if they aren't with me. They are just so kind, amd do amazing food. I can't wait for our next Indian takeaway.

Besom Inn

OK pub with OK pub grub and OK beer. Not the best place you have ever been but alright for a drink and a nosh! I like it when they have live music here, but it's not regular so you need to check on their Facebook page.

The Homestead Café & Farm Shop

We arrived as a group of 14 today for lunch and despite being a large group we were served quickly and our food arrived very shortly after. The menu had a good range of choice for kids and adults and all the food we had was delicious. All the servers were attentive and very friendly. Even the children in the group were raving about the cafe and the food. I would highly recommend this as a place to visit in the area.Kid-friendliness: The cafe were happy to make simple options for the kids if there wasn't anything on the menu that they wanted.

Golden Valley

Had our first take away from here on Thursday. The portion sizes were huge, we had crispy chicken in lemon sauce, which had the most generous portion of lemon sauce I have ever seen, crispy chicken in chilli sauce, so tasty, egg fried rice and soft noodles. All the dishes were freshly cooked and came with a free bag of prawn crackers. Our order didn’t take long at all and I highly recommend this take away.
