Very nice place. Light and airy. Outdoor seating. Quite a good size. Lovely little farm shop, found some unusual produce. Staff friendly and approachable seems very efficient. No vegan options but they were happy to do a toastie without the meat / cheese. Came with nice salad. Hubby had egg mayo sandwich had generous filling. Quite reasonable prices and was very clean. We stopped off here for lunch and although it was busy we were served very quickly. When our order arrived it was both delicious and plentiful. I chose the baked potato with coronation chicken and my husband chose the cottage pie. The staff were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. We would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

After having a lovely stroll in the grounds, we stopped off for refreshments and were delighted we did. The cafe was lovely and warm with friendly staff. We had delicious coffee with freshly baked scones in a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit for the walks, pottery shop and cafe afterwards.
