A perfectly good place to stop in for a drink or meal. There is a bar area with a pool table, as well as a separate dining area inside, and outside seating too.

We stop here before to go in our b&b. Food is good and the portions are quite big. As all the pubs you have to go to the. At and make your order for drinks and food.

Dinner on a road trip. Veggie burger and chips (only veggie option I think). Decent enough but nothing to rave about - at least it was a traditional vegetarian patty not one of the new "fake meat" burgers. Good beers. Chatty staff. Bit lacking in atmosphere - not many people in and the football on TV too noisy for something nobody seemed to be watching.

It was Saturday night and there were only 3 staff on covering the bar, tables and kitchen so they were pretty stretched. That being said we got a table with ease (although it was quite busy), you order at the bar and the food came out fast enough. We both had the venison burgers that came with salad and fries and was a large portion and very tasty. No room for dessert. Slightly lacking in ambiance but price (just over £30 with 2 soft drinks) and food was good. There is parking right outside. Be aware they stop taking food orders at about 7:45 (maybe even a little earlier than this) so make sure you arrive in time with this in mind.Parking: Medium sized parking lot for patrons

What a GREAT place! We were a little worried when we learned that this is really the only restaurant in town but it was perfect. Great local food (try the fish and chips), friendly staff. Really nice for lunch, dinner or just a drink or snack.

Woke up with food poisoning tonight after having a burger and a pint there yesterday (on August 25th). This seems to happen regularly at this horrible place!! It ruined rest of our holiday and cost us a 90£ taxi ride to our next hotel, double booking hotel rooms, and of course not to mention the health risk and sweat and tears and pain. The pub itself would be an ok enough place but do not go there for food. It's too risky.

My boyfriend and I each had a burger and a pint there after a looooong day of walking. It was all decent enough, but: We both ended up getting SERIOUS food poisoning from that place! It ruined the rest of our West Highland Way walk and our holiday, we felt absolutely miserable for days. And when we sifted through this places "worst" reviews on Google we realized: We were not the first ones to have this happen! People are getting food poisining from their food again and again! It's obvious that they do not properly cook/reheat their food. DO. NOT. EAT. THERE.
