One of the best fish and chips I’ve had with outstanding homemade curry sauce, soscrumptious ! This cafe is worth the stop, on a stormy day the log fire was a nice surprise and the view to the bird feeders was quite pleasant. The staff were super friendly and food came out quickly and hot. The fish chowder with seaweed soda bread was delicious!
Perfect fish supper - white, moist, crispy batter and served hot. Tasty real potato chips. Plenty of other choices and extras on the menu. Our guests chose huge onion rings, mushy peas and home made tarter sauce. One guest required a gluten free menu and she was well catered for too. All perfect. Stopped here on the way back from a day in Glencoe. Hubby had fish & chips and I had the loaded veggie chips. We were both very impressed, food was lovely. Will have to go back when we are next in the area.
