We went here as part of a large family group following a funeral and were superbly looked after by the staff. The set menu options we had were excellent and the wee fish & chips we had as a small starter was as good a bit of fish as I can recall having. The lamb main course was also delicious and succulent. This was my 3rd visit and it has never been less than excellent.

Visited on a reasonably quiet Wednesday evening in March and we were all blown away by how good it was. The welcome and service for the rest of the meal was warm, friendly and super efficient. The food was amazing...tasty starters then amazing mains. The steak and Chateaubriand were quality and superb tasty. We also had very lovely desserts. The restaurant is warm, tastefully decorated and very cosy. Cannot recommend Croabh enough and will definitely return. Thanks to all the team!

We (a group of 4 adults) visited for a spot of brunch yesterday. My parents had visited previously so recommended KROOV as a great place. From entering to leaving we were greeted with a welcoming smile and 'hello' and treated to excellent service, amazing food and great banter. Without a doubt 5⭐️ experience and we will be returning. Thank you very much. ?

We visited Craobh for dinner and we had a such a lovely dining experience! The food was exceptional, truly the best meal me and my partner have had in a very long time. The staff are so friendly and attentive and a pleasure to be around. We are already planning when we can next return! Ps the crispy beef with irn bru and chili glaze is outstanding!! :)

Food was good but we were a little disappointed that we had to wait out with the restaurant due to our son being under 18 as our table wasn't ready. We had booked as Birthday treat but were a little underwhelmed - perhaps we came at the end of a busy shift but it would have been nice if the staff had apologised for the table we reserved, not being ready.

Popped in speculatively with three generations in tow. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful in squeezing us in and were a delight. Menu choice was excellent and our meals were delicious. Scampi, burgers, avocado toast. Big thumbs up from everyone.

Showed up on spec for Sunday lunch. Extensive menu full of things I love. Beautiful venison burger with blue cheese and black pudding. Washed down with a decent Viognier and capped with a lemon meringue pie. Cheery young staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.

I thought long and hard about reviewing this place, and I wasn't going to, but it kept ranking, so here goes. First, the good bits: my dining partner's venison burger with blue cheese and black pudding was very good, the atmosphere is nice, and the menu quite interesting. But ... I was interested in the vegan burger with kaleslaw, which sounded interesting. I like a good beanburger (or similar) from time to time. I don't like fake meat, so I asked the waiter if it's fake meat, and he umned and aahed, so I said nice and clearly that I don't like fake meat. He said "It's made by the Green Bean Co [Or something like that]", so I said "It's a beanbyrger, then", and he said "that sort of thing, yeah", so I ordered it. Guess what arrived? A fake meat burger. With the dressing and the very nice kaleslaw it was just about edible, and I was hungry, so I ate it. In restrospect, I wish I had been less willing to please and just sent it back. I don't like being lied to. And chefs: I understand that it is sometimes easier to use ultra high processed food instead of cooking proper food with proper ingredients, but don't pretend to be doing something that you aren't. I can get UHP food / crap from a MacDonalds, and not have to pay £14 for it.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant whilst on holiday in Scotland and we based ourselves in Crieff. Located on the square the atmosphere and quality of the offer was excellent. We all started with something different and the Tempura cauliflower and King Prawns were delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. We followed this with the Roast Lamb and Cajun spiced salmon and again the presentation was really high with the lamb cooked beautifully.

If staying anywhere around Crieff make sure you eat here. Particular highlights for us were the venison, chicken burgers and the deserts. Great service - thank you!

Amazing food and service. Not often do we have 3 courses but definitely couldn’t resist. Venison for main and dark chocolate pane for desert all of it was amazing. Catered for young kids as well. Will definitely return.

Came for dinner after reading the reviews. Staff were fabulous and the food was delicious . We had the beef stroganoff and the burger with haggis. Was the best meal we have had in a while. Was such a stormy night and we were so impressed with the kind natured girl who drove a family back up to Crieff Hydro when they couldnt get a taxi. Staff, food, ambience all perfect. Would definately recommend.
