Glenturret Distillery, The, Hosh, CrieffMy favourite ever fine dining experience. I love visiting fine dining restaurants around the UK and last night my husband treated us to a visit here for my Birthday. I was blown away by the amazing flavours and service and atmosphere. Marks years of experience in some of the finest restaurants in the world culminate in taste journey that is refreshingly surprising and varied whilst showcasing the very best of the local larder. I cannot recommend highly enough.
The service too was exceptional from everyone we encountered from booking all the way though to post dinner coffee and chocolates in the stunning lounge.

Achray House
Achray House, St Fillans, CrieffWe had a fabulous time here. Dinner was fantastic and room very cosy. Laura was very welcoming and friendly.
A bit disappointed with breakfast. They had run out of haggis and black pudding and we only got a half potato scone each!!
We will certainly return.

The Quaich
47 High St, CrieffMy 2 sister-in-laws and I had the pleasure of finding this wee gem of a place today.
My sister-in-law has a dog and he was warmly welcomed in with us.
The lady who served us was very kind and friendly even going so far as to give us directions to the quickest way home to Glasgow!
The lentil soup was delicious and the tea plentiful.
This was our first visit to Crieff and we cannot praise The Quaich Bar highly enough.

The Tower
81 E High St, CrieffLovely staff, really helpful advising most vegetarian dishes can be vegan. Delicious veggie haggis wellington, mustard mash potato, roast veg and gravy followed by a tasty mixed fruit crumble and custard. Both dishes vegan although neither labeled as so on the menu. There were also 2 starters and a cheesecake which were vegan. Highly recommend.

Broich Rd, CrieffWe stopped for lunch when passing through Crieff yesterday. The staff were very friendly and helpful with quick service. We enjoyed my sweet chilli chicken ciabatta, coronation chicken baked potato and pie beans & chips. If in the area, we would definitely return!

The Cross, CrieffAbsolutely amazing customer service had a lovely chat with Fiona. Warm and very friendly. Had a few drinks and they tasted great. Tunes playing. The most welcoming and wonderful atmosphere in Crieff. Definitely recommend this place for a nice chill vibe and great conversation/atmosphere. Toilets are also spotless! Beautiful, cozy wee pub with a wood burning fire! thank you so much Fiona. X will be coming back in the future.

The Gurkha's
1 E High St, CrieffWe were staying at a lodge at the Crieff Hydro and ordered a take way meal. We had a lamb biriani, a potato and okra main meal,a mixed pakora and naan bread. Although the restaurant is titled as a Nepalese restaurant, the menu is just the usual suspects from an Indian restaurant, however, the execution of the meals was excellent. The sauces had real depth of flavour and more complexity than the usual curry gravy. The bhindi alloo was very generous,and cooked perfectly; not always the case with okra. The lamb was lean and tender The service was prompt too. We actually had enough food left for another meal. The only reason I don't give 5 points is because I was not able to pay over the phone so could not get it delivered as I had no cash, and I eould have liked to have seen some traditional Nepalese dishes on the menu. Really lovely though and would definitely use again.

Customer service is fantastic; some meats are good value, whilst others- such as beef short ribs- cost a small fortune, but this might be the case across the board.
Overall, I do recommend.

Meikle Restaurant
strathearn house, Ferntower Rd, CrieffCredit to the family for properly refurbishing this iconic restaurant used for Breakfast & Dinner.
Tables & seating are new and plush and replace very old Edwardian-style ones which had just had their day.
While the old decor reflected the hotel's Victorian roots, the new style feels at least 4 if not quite 5-star.
Food is varied but evening menu mainly very rich.
Breakfast is exemplary bar the bowlsize - with the roomrate being paid even with a discount for off-season I expected better frankly.
Service was, as always here, excellent. I gave feedback that the Breakfast music was too high for easy conversation and might upset neurodivergent people and Sorcha (Supervisor) tried to reduce it, but couldn't find the iPad required to do so. She later pledged to find it and next morning volume was perfect.
In the evening, service from James was good despite staff being stretched by more early diners than anticipated.

Orchid Chinese Takeaway Crieff
43 King St, CrieffFound ourselves in Crieff and not knowing where to go for dinner. After being disappointed by every sit in restaurant we decided to get a take away and head back to our lodgings for the night. Man who served us was brilliant, made sure we got the best value for money and cheered us up after a gloom evening. Even gave my daughter some free sweets! The food was brilliant. We are Chinese Takeaway snobs and like what we like, but this place is on par with our favourites back home. With the delightful service and yummy food I would recommend anyone near Crieff (or passing) to try The Orchid Chinese Takeaway!
Kid-friendliness: Gave my daughter free haribo sweets to cheer her up after a long, tiring evening.

The Square Bar & Kitchen, 35 James Square, CrieffWe were staying at Crieff Hydro for my dads 70th over the weekend and 15 of us came here for food and drinks one evening. The service was excellent and the food was AMAZING!! So glad we found this place. I would recommend the patatas bravas and the aioli one, padron peppers, calamari, garlic prawns, croquettes, pan con tomate, manchego and churros! Cocktails also amazing. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful and friendly, we will be back!

The fish and chips are brilliant and the staff are lovely and very helpful.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely be back next time I’m in Crieff.

Comrie Fish & Chip Shop
1 Dunira St, Comrie, CrieffA traditional chippy atmosphere, food was quickly supplied in a large portion and remained piping hot for the 10 min drive to St Fillans. The fish was excellent, very flavourful, the batter was crisps and the chips soft and supplied in droves. All in all, an excellent experience.
Parking: The shop itself is situated on a corner, however there is some street parking just round said corner and a small car park a little further down
