Visit on a Tuesday night & had to stand in a long queue to place an order with 2 members of staff serving one customer their drinks. Young staff who don’t have a clue & overpriced mediocre food. First & last visit. Not worth £25 for 2 carverys & 3 soft drinks

our 1st time visiting tonight. food was delicious, family of 5 we had mix of carvery, burgers and pizza, all were amazing. didnt have all desserts in stock but we got were lovely too. staff were really friendly. will defo be back.

My wife and I visited the stonehouse on Saturday 14th May, we were shown to our table and ordered our food through the app. My wife ordered a pizza that came over cooked and missing a topping she had selected and paid extra for and the server dumped our order down on the table and left instantly, we weren't asked if we wanted any sauces etc and when my wife tried to call the server back over she was completely ignored. The food was nothing to write home about, but I was more disappointed with the customer service. I was really looking forward to eating here but unfortunately after our experience it isn't somewhere we will visit again.

Went here tonight for a family meal, was informed fryers were broken on arrival so limited menu, ordered traditional carvery for myself and my mother and was told to be quick as there was only a small amount of gammon left and turkey, my son and daughter-in-law ordered burgers and sides, 45 minutes after I had finished my meal still no sign of my son or daughter in laws meal, was then told the chef who was making the burgers was away home!!! We were refunded only the price of the burgers, so much for a family meal absolutely shocking will not be back.

Went to have some lunch today with it being mother's day. Hugely disappointed. 1st of All couldn't find us on the booking list , eventually got a table. Was told 35/40 minutes waiting time. Why not have that explained when we booked earlier today. Food came and to be honest the burger my husband had was flat, cheap and nasty, tasteless. I had the fish also tasteless, if it wasn't for tartar sauce I wouldn't have know what I was eating. I understand it was busy with it being mother's day but improve your food standards as totally unacceptable. ☹☹

Placed order waited 30 mins on our starters, my partners was popping chicken whichwas over cooked and mire likea childs portion. I ordered beer battered mushrooms which had more grease in them than anything else 8 pieces of mushroom. My Fiancee ordered the chippy platter which was meant to have double chios and mushy please 2 slice if bread. There was only small amount of chips no peas no tarter sauce. The bread was on top of the fish with the portions of butter, this made the bread hard and the butter runny. Mine was to come in a few minutes. To be honest both dishes should have any out together so my fiancee wasn't eating while I watched. We complained about her mushy peas missing they replaced them and the tarter sauce appeared bytshe lost a slice if bread. Mine eventually came (picture attached) missing the onion rings and the nacho cheese sauce everything was luke warm and overcooked . I complained again to a chap who was supposed to be the manager told him I wanted a new meal. While was going go arrange it. I eventually had my meal after nearly two hours of waiting but asked to take it away as I could not wait any longer. I was given a refund in cash for the main meals as well as a replacement however I would not recommend this restaurant and I will not be back again. I wish I could give 0 stars as this is what it deserves.

The service couldn't be better, unfortunately, on this occasion we felt that some of our food was overcooked. We waited quite a while for it to arrive and I have to say it could have been better. My daughter had a chicken wrap which was very uninspiring, loads of lettuce and a bit of chicken with no sauce or mayo. We ordered sides of halloumi fried and salt & pepper mushrooms, both fried till they were rock hard along with the chips and fried chicken. I've eaten here before and really enjoyed the food, guess we got the chef on a bad day!

absolutley disgusted. went here on Sunday and couldn't have been more disappointed. arrived to be told there was only roast beef left which was fine for us as that's what we would have chose. so we got our carvery sat down and it was then I realised there wasn't one part of oue meat that was edible it was all fat and gristle, we left this all on our plate and approached a male member of staff and told him. he didn't seam bothered and just said sorry and walked away, no offer of a replacement. really disappointed as we have been here previous and had pizzas which were amazing. when we where leaving we went to use the youngest which were freezing and disgusting. the female toilets where covered in faeces so I chose to wait till I I home. emailed head office. NO REPLY, clearly couldn't care less their place is going to sh*t

We came here as a family of 5 for Sunday breakfast with two kids and our little dog for the first time. We had a lovely breakfast and the staff were great and very attentive. A special mention to the staff member hayley. She went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

I have visited here on many occasions as it’s very local to my home.The menu has lots of great things on offer and all of the staff are always very welcoming, cheery and helpful!Definitely worth a visit if your considering it!
