The food was variable I found, some items were lovely and some a bit overcooked.The meal deal that was on offer was fantastic value, it included a full cooked or continental breakfast and a 2 course evening meal. There's lots of choices for both meals. Fabulous dessert menu which I have included photos of as I loved them so much.Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian but I noticed plenty options for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: I don't know but sure they would accommodate dietary restrictions too.Parking: Lots of free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu and activitiesWheelchair accessibility: Yep it's wheelchair accessible

Smiddy Inn
Ben Lawers Dr, Cumbernauld, GlasgowConsistantly lovely food, lovely staff, lovely airy comfortable interior and very affordable. Easy parking too. I would highly recommend. I would have given 5 stars but there is one major fault. On my last few visits the Gents toilets have been absolutely stinking. There is no excuse for this these days. Management please sort this out.

S Carbrain Rd, Cumbernauld, GlasgowAn incredible meal, I love spicy food so ordered a phaal and have been to many restaurants in Glasgow and Cumbernauld, but none have brought the heat like tonight when I ordered the Phaal, succulent chicken and the spice level was exactly what I asked for, the meal for my partner was a chicken chilli tawa and she loved it as well, a side of veg pakora which was also lovely. 10/10 couldn’t recommend this place enough!

99 Main Rd, Cumbernauld, GlasgowAmazing Chasni and great prices. Will definitely be back!Been back multiple times and still amazing.Back yet again and Chasni still as good. Also very accomodating if you need advice on dietary recommendations like dairy free etc.

52, Teviot Walk, Cumbernauld, GlasgowGreat place in Cumbernauld that i use for breakfast. Good scottish breakfast. Loads of other food to select frim aswell. Place fills up quickly. So if you want a seat get there early. And even better if you have the App to order food and drink.

6 S Muirhead Rd, Cumbernauld, GlasgowNever spoke to a nicer woman on the phone for a delivery! She was so cheery and lovely makes such a nice change. We usually go to Oasis but no other chip shop on Cumbernauld seemed to be open apart from Marinins (2nd January) and the delivery was so fast, came in an hour and the driver apologised for how long it took! Didn’t even take long at all! Food was absolutely delicious also, we now have a new favourite chippy!

Craiglinn Park Rd, Cumbernauld, GlasgowFemale employee made me feel extremely uncomfortable, hope this gets brought up at the management. I was at the petrol station to get some tobacco and water. People who's been there know that there's no service like 4g only wifi (my phone doesn't connect to that wifi for some reason). So I came in today at around 7am, asked for tobacco, I had sparkling water and some sweets, when I pay my card gets declined. I was waiting for my new bank card and I used a different one that didn't have enough money on so for that I transferred the funds in advance to pay for my stuff. I had £32 transferred which is usually more than enough however the price was around £33 so I asked to leave my stuff and I would quickly pop outside to get connection and transfer the rest of the money. I heard a loud sigh from the female employee which I ignored but when I came back to pay, again I asked to leave out the sweets because I changed my mind (i wanted to get them but due to my diet I kinda convinced myself to not buy them). When the lady scanned my tobacco she gave me an unnecessary comment, something like "that's why you don't have enough money (pointing to tobacco pouch)". I wasn't sure if that was a comment towards my nicotine addiction or that I can't afford to buy things in her opinion? I did mention that I need 4g to transfer my money from 1 bank account to the other but obviously it doesn't mean anything to the female employee. It was just so unnecessary and rude as that lady is not my friend to talk to me like that and she has no idea about my finances or my smoking habits. I'm not trying to complain but I still think this should be mentioned here just so in case anyone from the management will see my review. Again, really annoying and made me feel extremely uncomfortable.***UPDATE***Just a quick update. I eventually asked to speak to a supervisor / manager at the Craiglinn BP. As I said before, I didn't want to complain but just to give the feedback from my experience this morning. I talked to Ewan & he said he'll speak to that female employee and really reassured me that he will deal with matter. I honestly felt so relieved as Ewan was very kind, he listen to me and apologised on behalf of the female employee. We had a quick chat which resolved the issue and he also offered me free coffee, it really surprised me as I didn't expect to get anything especially for free; btw that coffee was amazing. So I wanted to say big thank you for listening to me & in terms of my usual review on employee performances, I really think Ewan was very professional and his customer service skills are outstanding, I hope this gets seen by the management, honestly, get this guy promoted. Thanks ☺️

After the mildly inconvenient incident that left a 7.62 round lodged in my leg, I fled to Asda to avenge my fine pal Michael O’Rourke. ‘Pon arrival, I located the nefarious nincompoop that mortally wounded I. Playing hit game The Bosses ‘pon his mobile device, he did not anticipate my rifle-based assault. The incompetent and bumbling Asda security guard attempted to put an end to my misdeeds, but not one of his 30 rounds managed to penetrate me. Nevertheless, my former hostage and current nemesis swiftly and efficiently extinguished my life with his weapon. Disappointing :(

Sizzlers Ice Cream Parlour

Was really good portions for the price, Only thing is sat nav brings you to the car park at the back of the shop where another wee ice cream shop is and it was rather awquard asking for directions to the actual shop at the other side of the building.
