This is my favourite chippy in Cumbernauld. Always use never have any issues until yesterday we worked 1 hour and 35 minutes for a delivery on a Wednesday night. No mention of king waits when ordering etc otherwise we would have collected. Some family had to then rush dinner as we had other things to do after hence why we ordered at 17:30 expecting to get it at a normal time

After waiting an hour and a half and eventually got delivered my special fish was and the rest of my order was cold and I stay 3min from shop and last ill ever buy anything from then

Been using this chippy for years without any complaints. Really don't understand the one star reviews. Never had any problems with the staff either. Don't be put off, Use your own judgement.

We lived for 10 years across the street from Oasis, have such fond memories of taking my son to what in my opinion was the best fritters in cumbernauld. I'm not sure what's happened, slow service, small portions, daftly over priced and sadly poor fritters. I've been back three times and it's just not the same.
