This is my families go to place when we want to eat out, breakfast is amazing too, we love a wee beefy breakfast.. The menu gets updated regularly which is great.. Two of us are vegetarian and there are plenty of choices for us, we had Christmas dinner there yesterday and left feeling very satisfied.. The food is outstanding but the biggest compliment I have is for the Staff, from the moment we walk through the door you will receive a warm friendly welcome and they will make you feel your custom is important to them, that means a lot.. I recommend the Cumbernauld Beefeater very highly xVegetarian options: Loads of choices for Vegan and Vegetarians

We were there for a date night. There was Christmas meals on.at other tables but it only added to the atmosphere. Only problem we had was the toilet. I had a problem getting the door closed with my wheelchair in the bathroom. But the staff were lovely and got me a dining chair to move to to take my wheelchair out so I could use the toilet. The lift was great. I've not seen a lift like it.Dietary restrictions: I managed to find foor for my allerallergies. I was a bit put out though that the only starter I could eat was taken out of the menu for Christmas, and then I had no choice for dessert. Have vanilla vegan ice cream or nothing. I had 3 or 4 options for main course but it was all half chicken or one of the steaks Inc gammon steaks.Wheelchair accessibility: The lift to our seats was fancy I've never seen one like it before but then at the end of the meal I couldn't get into the disabled toilet and get the door closed with my wheelchair in. We tried different angles but it just didn't work. Staff tried to make the most of it and got me a chair to sit on in the bathroom and hubby had to wait outside in the corridor with my wheelchair.

Went two weeks in a row as we are having a kitchen installed. This venue was recommended to us.First time was great food excellent as was the service.Second time we waited at the door to be seated, after 5 minutes a group of people came I and just sat down at a table. The lady serving finally came over to us and we asked for a table for three.Was told that a table of 23 had just came in, I was aware as I was there before they arrived.So we asked if we would be served first as we had been waiting for quite some time. The front of house lady said yes they would. I said we would go somewhere else. She sort of just shrugged and we left and went to the weatherspoons along the road. This was excellent and much more choice as a side issue.It wasn't the fact that they were busy I understand that. But the attitude was pretty poor and clearly disorganised.

Popped in as a treat for lunch. We ate from the lunch menu. Food selection was great. Ii had a steak that was perfectly cooked. Not only that but the soft drink was refillable

I regularly have breakfast here. The staff are great and the food is freshly cooked for you. It is a great way to start the Weekend. I would suggest you book a table though, as it can get really busy.UPDATE: I was in this beefeater today for breakfast and Gerald cooked it for us. Best breakfast we have had in ages. Awesome! We have been a couple of times for breakfast as we live locally. The food is great , the staff are really lovely. We didn’t know we needed to book and they fit us in. Very warm and accommodatingKid-friendliness: We have a child with autism and the staff were great with him. Also came over with a sensory bag for him to use , that was also freshly washed! Excellent disability awareness and made us feel we weren’t a bother like we have had in other various places. Well done team !

Cannot fault the beefeater. I've been coming here since I was 5. Best restaurant for families in the community. Nothing else comes close. The steaks are amazing and the service from the staff is brilliant. Always professional. My Grandmother also enjoyed going to the beefeater, so, its definitely a place I'd highly recommend.The menu is great. We had a lovely steak dinner and dessert on the two course deal. Lovely welcome when we arrived and Katy who served us was very nice. The seating was quite worn I think a wee refurb would make such a difference to brighten up the restaurant.
It was my little brothers birthday and they came out and sang him happy birthday and even brought him sweets as a gift! Service was amazing and the food was excellent, as always. Love coming here and my brother was so excited! Says he wants to come here every birthday now :)

Frequent visitors of the beefeater for family meals, always lots on offer and plenty of choice of the kids. Food is always cooked as we like never had any problems, Hana our server, is so attentive as all the staff are which is why we return time and time again.

Yet again a great breakfast. Super team working this morning. Donna swiftly greeted us and showed us to our table reminding us of everything we would need (having been plenty of times before, it was nice that it wasn’t assumed) She was as lovely as always. Donna, knowing I have dietary requirements, also ensured I had the paperwork to check what I wanted was safe to eat. We had Hannah serving with her infectious smile and checked on us throughout our time there. Could ask for better service, it’s so nice to go and feel so warmly welcomed. Food was great too.

Came in for dinner last night and our waiter Stephen was so attentive. We never booked but the manager Donna went out her way to find us a table. Food was excellent and the kids where happy at an added bonus. The staff made our visit worthwhile, we will be back.
