Service was terrible, my daughter had a frozen chip on her plate. Waiting 30 mins plus between courses.

The food we had ,at best was basic .Cream of tomato soup, ? no cream, and so sweet.Because I was having soup I went for the lasagne ,very gritty meat and again, so sweet, cheese sauce poured on the top with added cheese .BASIC imo.My partner had a prawn cocktail ,possibly shrimps ,she also had a chicken breast dish with added haggis and black pudding ,when they remembered the haggis and black pudding yup forgotten and had to be promoted that we ordered it .The boss said they would have better just photocopies as they were the same size, and she imagined just as tastless .If you are making food, use good ingredients .Why was the lasagne so sweet??

The food was amazingly good for the 35 per head it cost. That included 3 courses and coffee. Sfaff were friendly and helpful, and there was nothing we could fault.

Staff were amazing, food was a bit hit and miss. The starters were good, i highly recommend the sharing platter, my steak came out medium/rare instead of rare, and my partners pasta dish felt and tasted like it had been microwaved. My nephews braised beef was soft but dry. Overall was a pleasant experience because of the
Apart from the bathrooms needing some attention everything was lovely.

We used to eat here alot but haven't been for a while as the last few experiences haven't been good however decided to give it another try which I wish we hadn't. There was a wait to be seated as there was only 2 members of staff. Starters were good and when finished we asked for more drinks. Mains arrived and my fajitas were terrible. Was as if the vegetables had been fried in the fajita seasoning and then a breast of chicken was just cut up and sat on top of them. There was no flavour to the chicken and was pure white so obviously hadn't been fried in along with the vegetables. I also found a hard object in my chicken which I nearly swallowed. The drinks we ordered after our starters arrived when we were putting our jackets on to leave. Went to the fairburn in Mauchline last night and had a completely different experience as food and service was great. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Was empty although it's not usually like this, I got the curry which was served with a piece of grilled chicken and was more of a korma than a curry. First time i have not enjoyed my food at this restaurant.
