“This hotel is an old one and the service is that too. The staff could not do enough for you. It was well heated, clean, and tidy. The food was first class and was served piping hot. The room was clean and tidy although some of the floor boards did creak. The lounge bar was comfortable and the prices were in line with a hotel of this standard. All in all I was delighted with my over night stay.Nearby activities: Although Cumnock has few activities it's not a far drive to some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery.Noteworthy details: Carter's for weddings and conferences.”

“Was empty although it's not usually like this, I got the curry which was served with a piece of grilled chicken and was more of a korma than a curry. First time i have not enjoyed my food at this restaurant.”
