We went for food here on a busy Saturday evening, And even tho they where extremely busy, the food was of the highest standard. Me and my son had the North Indian garlic chilli lamb. I must say it is the best one I’ve had to date. My wife and daughter in law had chicken tikka masala, and they said also fantastic. Plenty chips, rice, and good size nan. Overall a good meal. I will be going back if in the area.

Our first visit to this restaurant was excellent in every way. Whilst smaller inside than we thought from the size of the building, it was a very enjoyable interior with good acoustics. It was very busy on the Saturday evening we visited so booking is advisable. The dishes the four of us had were mainly lamb based but all excellent, flavoursome and gristle free although the chicken tikka starter was also moist. Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of dishes we had. Two had Biryanis, which were massive, and a doggy bag was offered, and accepted, to takeaway. The staff were very friendly and ultra efficient. We will be back!

My friends and I visited at lunchtime and were delighted to have a choice of either buffet lunch or from the main menu. We all decided on the main menu. Five different dishes, all beautifully cooked and presented. Mo was very attentive and we had no complaints at all. The best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Thank you.

Hands down, the best curry we've had for a long time. The lamb was so tender and both dishes were so tasty. A shame we live so far away or would definitely be going more often! The starters are huge so perhaps bear that in mind, still didn't stop us eating all of it though. The staff were really efficient and friendly too.

We had a lovely dinner at Cafe India tonight. We were a party of 8 people, and were lucky to get W table straightaway. We got Very friendly service, and the food was delicious. Some of us were vegetarian, and they were very pleased with the vegetarian options. The chicken mirchi masala was amazing… and as spicy as the name promised. The Achari lamb was well cooked and excellent. My son said his lamb Biriyani was better than what we get down south. Everyone left pleased with their food. No complaints. The only one observation was that when it gets busy, they look like they are short staffed, and service can be slower. But had a wonderful overall experience.

This restaurant use to be excellent at lunch time offering a set two course meal with authentic dishes to choose from. Having visited recently I was So disappointed as they offered a Buffet lunch which would suggest you got to select from a buffet table, one would not expect too much for the £12 (I think it was) per person but the buffet came straight from the kitchen on a side plate, the starter in the form of a couple of pieces of chicken which had no authentic Indian flavour, there was a tiny chicken wing, two little chicken nuggets? and I think it was a pakora - all cold. Having asked us if we wanted vegetables or meat for the main again three dishes appeared from the kitchen all chicken, I asked the waiter what curries they were, he pointed to each one and said sweet, medium and spicy, having tasted the sauces they were like nothing I've ever tasted from an Indian restaurant, the portion of rice for two was measly and the Nan Bread just acceptable. I didn't think much of the service as I felt the waiter didn't want me to ask question. It's obvious that a budget has come into play because of lost revenue due to the pandemic but what false economy as people will not return if this is what is presented - it's insulting to offer such poor, inadequate food when once it was excellent. I doubt I shall ever go back there.

I am a regular customer here and the food is normally excellent. I was disappointed on this visit as the lamb dishes were exceptionally salty. As this was a takeaway on this occasion (and I live some distance away) I didn't have time to call the restaurant and return the food. The dishes were the Shrek kebab Sheraji and the Achar Gosht. The other dishes - Parsi Chicken and Green Herb Chicken were both very good.

I have never been so appalled by the way the front of house acted. The attitude was bad from the minute we walked in. We had our drinks order taken with out a smile or even eye contact. When asked where the toilets were we got a grunt. No one came to take our food order as she was to busy talking to a friend. When asked to take an order we were told or shouted at to wait 5 minutes. This was in a restaurant where we were the only people. We had enough at this time and asked for the bill for our drinks and left. This is the first time that I felt the need to say anything about really bad service but this experience was the worst.
