Restaurants in Dingwall
Batty's Baps ltd cafe
35-36 High St, DingwallSuch a lovely little place. A regular meet up place for myself and a couple of friends. The food is delicious the cakes are baked by staff. The staff are so friendly and get to know your orders so you don't even need to ask for it when you get there. They know when to expect you and are concerned if you don't show at your regular time.In better weather you can have your coffee etc outside under cover.5 big stars for a cracking little placeParking: There are a couple of disabled spots outside Betty's . It is mainly a pedestrian precinct but cars are allowed to go through and park in disabled spots but there are plenty parking options at the back of the shops on either side of the pedestrian precinctWheelchair accessibility: Bettys is ground level so easy accessed. Outside seating option is also suitable.

The Cottage Bar & Restaurant
Hood St, Maryburgh, DingwallI booked the events room for a group of 30 of us and ordered one of their buffet options. All throughout the process Hannah and her team were incredibly helpful, the spread of food was excellent, particularly the desserts, everyone was very full and happy. They catered to all our different dietary needs too. It was also nice being in a separate room from the rest of the pub as I was aware of how loud we all were so it meant we weren't disturbing the other customers. Definitely recommend a visit if there is you're in the area, and ideal for large group bookings.

Miss Ying Thai Food & Shop
16 Tulloch St, DingwallLovely little place. Starters were delicious but mains were a little underwhelming. Could do with having a spice scale on the menu so customers can tell which dishes are mild and which are hotter.

Culbokie Inn
Culbokie, InnFood was lovely, no complaints. I can see why there could be issues with the speed of service as the place isn't huge and not a lot of staff but for me it was quick enough.

41 High St, DingwallWe always go in and order and it is always quick service, no more than 15 minutes for starters, mains and sides for 2 people.Best Chinese in the Dingwall, Conon Bridge Muir of Ord area.Having used it regularly our go to favourites are the garlic chilli chicken balls and the crispy shredded beef.As yet we have always taken away not sat in so can't comment on the atmosphere.Parking: In the evening, to pick up you can drive down the high street where there is space to stop just after it.

County Kebab
61 High St, DingwallI've been living in the US for 17 years and returned to Scotland this year. I regularly had kabab and Halal food while living in the US. Popped into County Kebab tonight and ordered a chicken and shish kebab. OH..MY..GOD! It was incredible. Knocks the socks off the garbage I'd been eating in the States. Real pieces of delicious tender lamb and the lovely caramelised chicken.

Conon Bridge Chip Shop/Chinese
High St, Conon Bridge, DingwallYou might think that a takeaway that does Chinese and a chip shop menu might not pull of either very well but this is seriously one of the best Chinese takeaways anywhere in Scotland. Add to that a quality chip shop with fast friendly service and no one can be disappointed.

Mo's Spice Grill
2 Elder Avenue, Conon Bridge, DingwallWhile not particularly local to me, I have had a takeaway a number of times and have never been disappointed. It seems to be a busy little place and the place is very clean. The food is always well prepared and full of flavour. I've only ever ordered the Indian food so can't comment on the pizzas or kebabs - I must try these some day! The Spicy Mince Meat Roll of Chicken Chatt are excellent starters and I particularly like the Chicken Biryani or Garlic Chilli Lamb. Well worth a try if you're in the area.
