They had just had a change of staff so the online menu vs what was available were very different. Good food and great service but had been excited by the online menu and just had fairly regular choices in real life so a little disappointed.

Really disappointed with the grilled burger meal. At £9.50 for a takeaway, it was not value for money at all. For the price and given the reviews, I expected a gourmet style burger with quality hand cut chips. A bit of fresh lettuce maybe a slice or two of fresh tomato and red onion, and the option of a little relish on a nicely toasted fresh burger bun. The reality was the equivelant to what my son had ordered from a local chippie. The toasted bun was actually a non-toasted morning roll filled with a mediocre burger (like what you would expect from a burger van), a little bit of limp lettuce and a slice of bacon. The chips were nothing special either. I've not been as disappointed with a meal in a long time, sorry guys but it just didn't live up to the standard displayed on your website or indeed the price tag for a takeaway.

Stayed here on buisness 2016 , fantastic hotel , incredable views , cant think of a big enough compliment for the staff and food , since i stayed there , been try to convince work i need to go back , dont hessitate to stay here people

Stayed here with my partner for the first night of our NC500 trip. Fantastic location & beautiful a beautiful view from our bedroom (n.2). As soon as we got out of the car a lovely dog greeted & escorted us to reception - she can even open doors! The bedroom decor was nice & the bed comfortable, I had a good sleep here. The only negative points are that the tv was broken (no picture, just sound), the lock on the door is dodgy so we had to get a member of staff to help us get in, & in the bathroom the wallpaper has started to peel. None of these really effected our stay so I'll keep it as 5* We would stay here again if we were to come back in the future.

I have been here once before but didn’t think the room I had was as comfy and nice as previous. The bed was bit hard as were the pillows and there was a big swirly stain on the carpet. Bathroom was nice and it was clean. We didn’t see any staff as our keys were just left out for us with a post it attached. Likewise there was no one around in the morning. We didn’t have an evening meal or breakfast here so can’t comment on that. I wouldn’t not stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Location is handy fro Inverness and Dingwall though and price was very reasonable.

Myself, my boyfriend and my best friend attended a wedding in Torridon and booked to stay here the night before to break up the drive from Glasgow - we didn't expect much as we found the room pretty last minute for a really cheap price. When we arrived we were absolutely blown away. The view from our window was absolutely stunning! The room itself was clean and spacious and the hotel just had a lovely overall character to it. We loved the honesty bar, where you could help yourselves to drink and leave the money in the tin. Considering how last minute we booked this place, we couldn't recommend more - wish we could've stayed longer! We will definitely, definitely be back again.

It's beautiful hotel lovely room very comfortable and clean can't comment on food as restaurant closed only stopping for one night so ate at a local pub really enjoyable stay 😃

Yesterday my self,mum,my daughter and my sister in law were in for afternoon tea, and wow it was amazing �it was beautifully presented and fresh made. My daughter could not believe her eyes when the waitress took her afternoon tea out , beautiful cakes, a scone , sausage roll and a ham sandwich needles to say she enjoyed it all as did we with ours. Fantastic value for money and we will definetly be back soon. Special thank you to the waitress she was lovely and very friendly xxxx

Just returned from a weekend wedding at Kinkell House Hotel where this restaurant is. I have to say there wasn’t anything I ate that wasn’t absolutely amazingly delicious, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The staff were also brilliantly professional and welcoming, they made us feel very special. Thank you guys, Claire, Bridesmaid x
