Stocked up during our stay. Nice little cafe, good cappuccino and very tasty cupcakes. It is best to sit down on the bench in front of the cafe and drink your coffee there. Enjoy and let the city and people affect you.

Wherever we are in the Inverness area we make a beeline for a Harry Gow shop. We stay at Dingwall campsite so use the local one there. Best bakers in UK. Brilliant homemade soup, a different one every day, delicious filled rolls, sausage rolls and what a fantastic selection of cakes ??.

One of Gow's establishements in the highlands. It is situated in the main high street, and is always very busy. The bakers provides a selection of cakes, pastries, filled rolls, hot rolls, soup, pizza, and ice cream. I have to say my favourite is the sausage rolls, they are absolutely gorgeous. The pizza's they are very popular among school kids, lunchtime being there busiest times. They don't only do take away but they do orders for local businesses, and have arrangements for them to come and collect. The home made soup is gorgeous, and always worth a try. Everything in the bakers is freshly made that day nothing is ever left over, mind you I don't think they could keep anything left over it's always gone by shutting time. They too also do special cakes, such as wedding and birthday cakes and so on. They have a fantastic reputation for there cake making skills. The only downside to this shop is that it is a little small and there is a limit to how much food they can have. During lunchtime it is very hard to get in the shop and I have to admit on occassions I have got so frustrated that I have left. Much to my own disappointment. it's not as large as the other establishments, but still a very good shop with tasty produce.
