This picturesque service station is somewhat limited in the facilities on offer. You can expect a basic lavatory and shop. The shop contains a range of snack and drink offerings as well as a small selection of NC500 merchandise and basic corner shop prices. The prices are reasonable for a corner shop and the services on the whole serves as a decent stop for a picnic on the NC500 route.

Stopped here on 4th July 2022 to use disabled toilet. Sad to say it was disgusting, every surface was filthy, couldn't bring myself to use the wash facility as even the tap was filthy, certainly never washed & disinfected in months. Ended up using wet wipes and sanitizer to wash after using.Terrible esp as many disabled folks can be immunosuppresed.

Sad that the cafe is closed for refurbishment but the petrol station has micro meals and a microwave. All you need sometimes. Looking forward to the new cafe and getting a shower there again

Yet another good truck stop went wrong. I used to use it all the time for food and a shower . But unfortunately now it closes at 5pm. Obviously not bothered about truck drivers.?

Recommended. The restaurant is situated apart from the petrol station, but follow the signs for car parking and there is a big seating space with lovely paintings dotted around. Friendly helpful staff, toilet facilities and a play area outside.

Been here many times over the years.Service is excellent.Food is excellent. The staff this time had a very reasonable attitude towards the covid situation. They were all wearing masks which I found very reassuring.
Didn't stop for petrol. Is is one of the more easily accessible e-car charging points on this section of the A9.So, compared to having to go to a crematorium in Inverness or some other awkward out of the way place, like a back street carpark in Dornoch, handy though they maybe for the locals (living ones obviously) they get 5* for convenience and availability.
