Joined the queue for lunch today - the food was delicious as usual. Everything made while you wait at your table. Generous portions.Yummy homemade cakes. Coffee hot! One of my pet gripes in a restaurant is warm coffee. I expect mine to be piping hot! Very welcoming and cheery staff. No complaints - looking forward to our next visit.

The overall experience here is good. Food, service, etc. I find that it is very busy and this day was no different. I do find that the noise levels can be quite loud! If this is an issue, then do what you must. Just be prepared for it. There was also a large queue here prior to ordering. I guess being in a good location on the A9 has the blame for this. Regardless, we did have a nice breakfast/brunch! Note re: gluten, I ordered a gluten free breakfast and there were limitations I.e., toast?

Good bacon rolls & coffee but insane ordering service. My wife was away 15 minutes waiting to order, ordering, then waiting for the coffees. The staff delivering food & clearing tables could use tablets then bring the items leading to a faster turn over of customers & more money. I didn’t have a second coffee as I couldn’t be bothered waiting.

We had a really delicious lunch here, I had breaded monkfish cheeks on a bean and chorizo stew, wasn't too pricey either. It's cosy and there are great views across the firth. Service is very friendly. We bought treats (and some last minute gifts) in the deli after. My old Dad comes here all the time to get local milk - he can charge his car here so the trip is basically free for him. Anyway it's a lovely place, easy to recommend.

Waited in a queue for over 20 mins. Meantime I picked up 3 soft drinks from the open fridge and placed an order for a wood fired pizza and flat bread. Bill was paid before food arrives and on checking bill we found we’d been charged for 2 beers. Wife went to rectify. They then said we’d owe them money as one of the 250ml soft drink cans was , I kid you not, £7 for a spring water, tonic and some flavours of orange, rhubarb and some other fruit. They told us it was ok and just to return and wait on food. There are no prices displayed on drinks and wife was so embarrassed on being told we owed more she just sat down Food arrived. Pizza was cold. Barely had any toppings. Was returned and another 5 mins presented again. I ate a few slices and wondered why it wasn’t tasting great and when I checked the dough it was not cooked through. By this stage we’d had beers charges we didn’t have, bought a drink unpriced to find it was £7 and had cold food. So we just left. I really can’t see us returning again. It’s a food factory.

We came as a large group of 12, without a booking, the Storehouse team looked after us wonderfully and the food was excellent. The location and the views are another bonus!

A brilliant find in a rural spot. Comprehensive menu to suit all tastes and some exciting varieties of cakes & puddings. Good scones. Nice choice of coffees. Mains look good too.Parking: Car park surface is a little "tired", but not too messy.

What a lovely surprise, my partner had suggested here as she had been here before. The food was delicious and the service very good. Portions are just the right size. All the staff were friendly and smiley. We sat outside as the weather was lovely, what a beautiful spot they have. The views up and down the firth are spectacular. Excellent gift shops here too. Highly recommended and looking forward to going back.

We were lucky and had a table in the marquee overlooking the Black Isle in good weather. Food was delicious, quiche on one plate, salmon pate and maquerel pate on the other. Really tasty salads, with not a drop of balsamic vinegar in sight! Service was friendly and helpful.

Been coming here for years.Food is good and the staff are good.Just never seem to be quite enough tables available at peak times. But if you are aware and ready for that then you should have a very pleasant dining experience with some lovely cakes to finish off with.Parking: Always a challenge
