I drop into this little gem on the occasional Sunday for a very nice breakfast,that is always cooked fresh,and is always piping hot. I love the fact that it is one of the few places that serve fried bread with your fry up,it's always been a favourite of mine.The coffee is one of the nicest I've tasted in the town. Service is always very efficient,and the atmosphere is always very pleasant. This is a family run cafe,and the owners are always willing to strike up a conversation with you.I would not hesitate to recommend this very good little cafe to friends and family

Amazing cozy cafe. Excellent service and very friendly. Comfortable however, I wouldn't recommend as a study area because, there is no signal and no free WiFi (to the extent of my knowledge). Perfect for a quick bite to eat or, to relax and kill some time somewhere warm. Would 100% go again and try more things on their menu (great selection!)

Popped in here for a takeaway coffee and cake as had 45 minutes to wait for the bus. Got a coffee and cake Lovely people were giving me a refund for a smaller piece of cake which was homemade shortbread. Will visit again

Disgusting...has this changed hands? As the breakfast we got looks nothing like the picture, we went as the reviews seemed good initially. Cheap frozen sausage deep fried, bacon like leather, 1tbsp of scrambled egg if we were lucky. The coffee was good

Although we only had a bacon roll with tattie scone and a fried egg with tattie scone ...they were grand, however the two extra shot flat whites hit the spot ...kept us going for three bus journeys!Plus, the couple who own the Piccolo were both friendly and helpful.
