Lovely friendly place with lots of different options. Now our go to place in Dumfries.Parking: Disabled spots almost outside, otherwise lots of free car parks close by and some on street parking.

Possibly worst breakfast ever. Dirty cutlery. No toilet paper. Freezing cold. Dirty toilets. Didn’t have half the items for a cooked breakfast, but still charged full price. Rubbery bacon. Lukewarm haggis. Man at other table walked out he’d been waiting so long. Young girls as waitresses, so not their fault, but no one seemed to be overseeing things, or ansk us how our food was.Very disappointing

Very cozy shop with excellent food and even better staff! It is a family run cafe that makes you feel like family the second you stop in. A must visit when you’re in Dumfries!!

Lovely friendly staff who go out of their way to help and even delivered scones still warm from the oven n buttered ready to eat. Its always clean and the food is fresh and very well presentedDefinitely the place to go in town for good coffee and a fresh scone or yummy traybake

Good food. Friendly staff. Baby friendly. Tables and chairs nicely spread, spacious and not stuffed in together like sardines in a tin.Kid-friendliness: Plenty floor space. High chairs supplied.

Oh dear. Hoping this was a rare bad day in the place. Had to clear the table of dirty dishes to sit down at the start. Waited 30 minutes before my partner got his cup of tea, I had to then ask for my cappuccino after ten mins more waiting and 45 mins for the food we had ordered. The whole place was full of people waiting ridiculously long times for their orders yet there seemed lots of staff looking busy, just no orders getting out. Rarely give bad reviews but this was genuinely merited. Food was ok but it was very disappointing.

We stopped here on our way to our holiday cottage. I had the soup and sandwich, which was a chicken noodle soup and a ham sandwich, which was absolutely delicious, and my husband had the haggis and cheese melt which he said was really tasty. Service was very polite and wonderful ? would recommend this a stop for lunch if you are in the area.

Food is great and the staff are very nice to talk to.Parking: Parking is very hard because of where it is located on a back street.
Great coffee Great Scottish breakfast and relaxing atmosphere
Had a lovely lunch with the family. 1st time here. Enjoyed our meal. Thank you.
Best place for brunch in Dumfries. Food, drinks and cakes are all amazing and portions generous, decent prices and lovely staff
