The Swan is just perfect after a stroll along the river .nip in for a nice drink.or as we did on this occasion an excellent meal. Great place friendly staff superb food.Parking: A superb location by the river.

First time here. Thought it was about time we came to see what The Swan was about. Staff very friendly food was excellent. The only but.. was it was freezing in the building. I was even sitting next to the table with the fire and although a few logs were burning down it was cold in the building. I saw others also comment too it was cold. Now considering we were there on a cold day outside I would have loved to say we stepped into a warm and friendly atmosphere, friendly yes warm not so.Would love to come back again but would leave it until the weather warms up so I can sit in the garden area. Real shame as a warm building is so important in hospitality if you want me to stay for pudding and coffee
Huge menu selection, you’d have to be super fussy to struggle to select something! I had a chicken and bacon wrap from the specials menu, which was beautiful. Too big a portion would be my only criticism. Owners are lovely and their staff are equally friendly, and accommodating.

Came here for new year, stayed in the carpark in our campervan.Food is outstanding and the atmosphere was lovely.Staff very attentive and always ready for you to order and cater for your every need.We will definitely be back againFood we had was Balmoral chicken and maple bacon and chicken salad.
