Once again an amazing lunch at the Black Agnes. Calamari- yum! Chicken stuffed with black pudding and haggis - amazing, hubby had homemade soup (said it was better than mine - cheek!) and the sizzling steak (as usual he said he’d recheck the menu, but couldn’t resist the sizzle). Thanks Black Agnes team, we love visiting you. It’s always smashing!!

We are staying in an Airbnb at the harbour and had a meal in this tiny wee restaurant tonight. I have coeliac disease so have to feel really confident that the staff understand not just gluten free ingredients, but also cross contamination. I chose the homemade burger, no bun by choice, fries, onion rings, salad and salsa. It was fantastic. Great value for money. Lovely lady serving us who was just stepping in as the usual waitress was off this weekend. Definitely one to revisit on our next visit.

7 adults and 3 kids for a family birthday on a Saturday night. Great service, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Good gastropub grub, needless to say with ten of us too many people to list all the dishes we had, all enjoyed, but 3 of the group had fresh haddock and chips and that seemed to be the winning dish! One of us had macaroni cheese and felt the sauce could've been a wee bit cheesier, but that's just personal taste I guess. All in all, a great night was had, friendly service, good food, and cold beer, cant ask for anything more. Definitely recommend.

We booked late and so ate early - but what a fabulous meal! This spot is tiny and the hardest working waitress in Dunbar does her best to ensure you have everything you could possibly want - I asked about gluten free and she said she would check with he chef and came back with gluten free onion rings for me to go with my gluten free fish and chips. Super friendly service in this tiny little gem in Dunbar.

We have dined in this tiny restaurant on several occasions and have always found the meal quite satisfactory. We have always been lucky in finding a vacancy at one of the handful of tables in the small room that comprises the restaurant. On this visit I we both had scampi and chips, mine washed down with a flagon of Bellhaven heavy, the excellent local brew. I am blessed in being one of those exceedingly fortunate individuals whose partner enjoys driving and eschews alcohol - what more can one ask.

We have made a stop over on our trip to the highlands. We found this nice little restaurant in the Main Street of Dunbar. Nice and friendly staff, cool beer and excellent food. It’s really a good recommendation to stop and rest.
