Visited today with our dog, probably the best pizza I’ve had. Staff are ever so friendly and gave our cocker spaniel a plate of ham and water bowl. So lovely and welcoming. Place is spotless clean, friendly, spacious and menu is plentiful. Will definitely return! Thank you x

Staff are very friendly and take extra care to welcome you and get you seated. Service was so quick even though busy and the food was delicious. Food was also good value for the price. We are not local but every time we visit we make sure we have a meal at the Pine Marten.

We were visiting Dunbar this week and are from Edinburgh.We have just had a very authentic meal lots of meat in all dishes .The tandoori chicken biriyani was amazing as was the accompanian vegtable curry .The tarka dahl was the best we have had in along time and we visit Indian restaurants a lot in edinburgh this was by far the best food we have had in a while ,service and price was excellent .On the down side the restaurant decor needs a make over, but a must visit if you are a foodie.

Turkish Best Kebab

This is a takeaway only food shop serving hotmeals in the evening. Predominately various types of Kebabs and Pizzas, although you can also get chips. I always have a doner kebab with spicy tomato based sauce and salad sauce. I ask for everything separate as I hate the bread being soggy. Service is always great and quick. Cash only as they don't have a machine.

Collected a takeaway, ordered on the FoodHub app. It was ready on time, fresh and hot. Collection is the quickest way to get your order from a busy business!

Everything was really well cooked and very tasty. Starter portion of chicken chaat was generous and super flavourful. Garlic naan was fresh and fluffy and the chicken tikka starter came with 6 juicy pieces and onions. Nice aloo paneer to mix things up too. Plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Hands down, the best meal of our Scotland trip! We lucked out getting a table without a reservation. Our server (the mother of the sibling owners) was the sweetest woman, and she patiently guided me through eating lobster for the first time. The food was absolutely out of this world. If I could leave 6 stars, I would.

One of the reasons we came back to Dunbar apart from the miles of lovely coastal walking. Beer garden was closed last time we were here as it was late, but been today (still here) and the beer, friendly bar staff and beer garden are all great! We’ll be back!

It was a little quiet when we arrived. A cold dull Saturday lunchtime. But was given a warm welcome. Service was prompt. I had a great steak pie with quality meat and good portions. Worth a visit. Recommended.

Having previously stayed at the Dunmuir, I rebooked for three nights in March and was not disappointed. There is always a warm welcome. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable with sparkling white sheets and luxurious bath towels. The food, served in the 1902 Restaurant is excellent with local sources ingredients; the porridge is some of the best ever!
The proprieters, Lesley and Philip, take great care to ensure the comfort of all their guests and are welcoming and helpful. The Dunmuir is one of the diamonds in Dunbar's crown and it is an excellent location to explore both the Lothians and the Borders.

Called in for a few drinks at this bar and it was busy.The beer was very good and it shows sports on its many tv s.This bar follows rugby as shown by its photos and flags on the walls and ceilings.We never stayed in the hotel rooms.

Excellent place to stop, we found this place by accident when looking for a place to stop when on the road, it was great, food excellent and the dogs loved the space to do what dogs do, we loved this place so much we stopped on the way back from Haggerston castle with our neice and nephew in tow, they also had a ball. ?

Tasty homemade food, well priced and a good selection of good beers,lagers and Ciders. Helpful and kind staff. A perfect cosy Saturday lunch in the pub with Family and our dog. I will certainly be back. Lots of historic photos on the walls. Good sized outdoor patio area and dining room.

Kudos to Edith. She is so lovely ? Originally I was gonna stay just for a night but I extended as she was so lovely. She is the receptionist cum the bartender plus doing everything else. The room was immaculate, the view is outstanding and absolutely incredible. So close to the railway or bus stop. Perfect place. I'll bring my boyfriends over next time (not both at the same time haha). Also, only if you are here. You made an indelible mark. Truly spectacular for a service. I'm glad I didn't go for another more luxurious hotel. Sometime you don't need to when the service is already world class. Just wishing if there is a bathtub but the shower is great too. Thank you!
