This is such a delightful restaurant. Small place by the harbour. Lovely panelled room. The service is a lovely combination of formality and friendliness. They judge it perfectly. The food is terrific. Excellent produce done well. Impossible to find fault. Congratulations.

From the minute you enter the Creel you are very well looked after, my wife and I dined here for our wedding anniversary, we both had the venison which is probably one of the best plates of food I’ve had in a long time, fantastic wine and the staff couldn’t be more attentive. An absolute gem!

We visited the Creel Restaurant in Dunbar for lunch - the welcome was warm, the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu well thought out, with something for most tastes and the 'special' was stunning. If you are in the Dunbar area you should check it out.

Had my second visit here last week. Food was brilliant, very seasonal and fresh. The beef is to die for! Service was attentive and made you feel very welcome, easily the best in the area. Although I’m not usually one to complain about something, one of the younger waitress had long fake nails, which I couldn’t help feel uneasy about as it looked like they were touching the food.

Fantastic night at the Creel Restaurant . We were extremely well looked after by everyone from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The food was wonderful. Can definitely recommend the Scallops, Fillet of Beef, Lobster and Cheesecake! Just delicious. Best restaurant in Dunbar.

Had a lovely meal at the Creel whilst on holiday in Dunbar. Food did not disappoint although portions looked small, they were more than enough. I do not eat fish and only one meat main course was available. It was absolutely delicious but to revisit I would need a wider choice. Service and food was excellent. It is not cheap, but it certainly is worth a visit.

Well, to be honest, I did not expect that. My friend told me, it’s a great place with good food. But I have to say it was excellent food. The starters was Carpaccio great taste, nicely arranged.Main course incredible with an awesome gravy. Dessert a variety of cheese. Only the Brie was a little bit to weak to stand against the others. Good service, I think her name was Morna? She did a great job with the recommendation of the wine. And I think, it’s not to expensive. I love that place.Vegetarian options: Eine gute Auswahl.

Had lovely meal, however felt starters were over priced. Had Venison Carrpaccio starter. Two slices of Venison no bigger than a 10p piece for £12.95. 3 halves of walnut and chestnut mushroom mousse.

It was our first visit at The Creel in Dunbar and we were delighted by the fine food there. I had the Seasonal Asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham which was fresh and delicious. I followed this up with the Pork Belly in gravy with mash and carrots, this was mouth watering and just melted away in the mouth. The service was friendly and speedy with excellent wine choices. The atmosphere was quite intimate also helped by the historic surroundings of the dining area.If you are in East Lothian a stop at The Creel in Dunbar is highly recommended
