“Fabulous cafe. I chose a delicious fresh meat platter. Best I have had in a long time. Efficient, friendly service. I would highly recommend. Also, spoilt for choice concerning the wine and other alcohol selections. A go to place for sure and they do deliveries.”

“Amazing baby friendly and helpful staff and interior design so peaceful and has the Edinburgh feel. When it got busy it was even more like you would reach a destination in any part of the workd and just want a lovely cafe shop to let it all sink in. Easily you could leave that place and be back on a busy street in Tokyo or a quiet camping place. It just fits everything and everyone. They understood our differences and similarities and my baby was happy.Thank you for being so kind.”

“Excellent fish & chips and you can wash that all down with a chilled bottle of Deuchars. It's a busy place, so be prepared for a wee wait. It's worth waiting though! You can either sit indoors or outside if it's sunny enough a day, which it was on this visit.I'll definitely be back.Nearby activities: There's plenty of walking available around here with a good route around the Broomhall Estate close by.The Limekilns are just along the road too.Walkability: You can walk here from Rosyth & Inverkeithing but only alongside a busy road until you get to the Fife Coastal Path. Then it's an easy wander.Walking from Charlestown & Crombie is easy enough too. You'll be able to walk here from Dunfermline also if you know your way around the local pathways. There is a bus that goes to Dunfermline and local taxis are relatively cheap too.Food & drinks: The fish & chips gets a solid 5-stars.There's a good selection of teas, coffees etc and a small collection of alcoholic and alcohol free drinks.”

“Got a flat tyre last night which never got repaired last night so had to sort in the morning. Thankfully, greggs was open and i got a free cup of tea & a bacon roll. I found gregg to be very sympathetic to my situation (unlike Kenneth who was sipping on his beer being very unsympathetic!!)Shouts to Gregg ???”
