The restaurant had a lovely vibe with full tables.
The food was excellent and very reasonably priced .
However the highlight for us was the young waiting staff .
Despite their young age they engaged with every customer and were delightful , interesting and interested .
Great ambassadors for the family business.
Our daughter is nonverbal but they treated her with such respect asking her name .
A lovely experience and will certainly return when in Dunfermline .

Really sad to write this as the food is always amazing, but not happy with our experience of using our Christmas vouchers. We went in on Valentines night and tried to pay using the voucher, the lady with the blonde hair, was very abrupt and rude saying we couldn’t use these on Valentines or Mothers Day as she carried on walking saying it’s in the small print. I would suggest there could have been a nicer way to explain this and also maybe when people are booking a table make it clear and advise of the small print.

The management and staff in the 7 Kings have nailed it. From breakfast all the way through the day the service they provide is consistently spot on. Had breakfast there with the family through the week, staff were great and the food was too. Spent yesterday afternoon/evening in there watching the rugby. Place was mobbed, atmosphere was great and staffing levels were suitably scaled up to ensure service was brisk and friendly at the same time. At a time when the hospitality industry is struggling landlords could do a lot worse than visit here to learn from the example and use it as a benchmark. Congratulations to management and staff ??

Get the not so good bit out the way first. Really wouldn’t bother with the chicken tikka starter. Was expecting that red tinged chicken with crispy smoke burnt bits on the outer edges. None of that. Just pale extremely dry chicken with hardly any taste. However the chicken in the korma was first class and loads of it. The sauce was 10/10 too. Also has a peshwari naan bread was absolutely fantastic and stuffed with filling. Definitely going back and getting more adventurous as I won’t be sharing with a spice phobic friend lol.

Don't know if they serve food as we were on a girls night out that didn't include having a meal.
Such a friendly bar, traditional pub.
Toilets were not the best, I think the fact that half of the pub is a disco/ bar for a much younger crowd. Meaning the people in the traditional pub area are having to share WC facilities with younger, clubbing type patrons. There was toilet roll and paper towels all over the floor, no toilet roll to use, no paper hand towels to use. The ladies toilets were very cramped and not suitable for all those patrons, only 2 tiny toilet cubicles.
The bar was well stocked, the staff were lovely and the juke box was fantastic.
I wouldn't choose this place to go in regularly, but as we were on holiday at the time it was acceptable for a one off visit and this is solely due to the toilet facilities.

When it comes to the food, the service and the overall mood, I really cannot fault Pizza boy. I will say this much, online and delivery services has its downfall, because of it many people don’t get to experience the quality of the food. I love my pizza and between Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut I genuinely love the flavour of the pizza at Pizza Boy, the price for a 16 inch compared to other places really makes it great value for the money too.

I saw the other reviews and genuinely would encourage anyone to not let that stop you from getting a pizza here. Just make sure it’s in person because I’ve always done it in person and NEVER had an issue.

My friend and I went for breakfast because the Tesco cafe was being refurbished. Firstly, we struggled using the ordering app, and accidentally ordered double hash browns ( which were delicious!) I only gave everything a 4 star rating because our muffin came with cheese- 'plastic cheese' that we didn't see on the image on the order screen as we ordered an egg and bacon muffin- not an egg, bacon and cheese muffin. So we spoke to the young woman and she said we could have taken it off via the ordering screen, but we had difficulty even ordering the food never mind taking ingredients off!! Anyway, she offered to change it for us. So, we are waiting and waiting, and it wasn't until my friend got up to chase it up that the young woman noticed and passed it to her. The atmosphere was hard to describe, quiet but as if the staff- mostly young people- were behind the scenes chatting with each other, no passion or smiles. I can't really put my finger on it but probably wouldn't go there again. I gave it a 7/10 but my friend said she would give it a 3/10 but my friend is quite discerning.

We were traveling from the highlands back home, googled fish and chips and this place came up as good reviews so we decided to try it, and we’re so extremely happy we did. This is not an exaggeration, this was probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. The chips were beautifully fried, with a slight crispy exterior and fluffy inside, they tasted perfect, and the cod was the star, soft light batter that didn’t taste greasy and lovely cod quality. This is truly a great place for fish and chips.

But another reason we love this place so much now is the staff, the waitress, I apologise I didn’t get her name working on 5th May was fantastic. She was polite, chatty, and was constantly going around cleaning which we truly appreciate as hygiene is important to us. Bringing me onto my next point, this place was spotless, and I mean extremely clean and spotless which is major points in our books.

We travel to Scotland regularly, this will now be our go to fish and chip shop in Scotland every time and we can’t wait to come back soon.

Please please please stop using plastic bags. Got a Nanwich with Masala fries and as soon as it arrived I knew it would be completely soggy. Upon ripping the bag open the pizza box was soaking wet and the fries were floppy as expected.

Popped in this evening for some food with a colleague. Lovely food, started with some small plates & decided on the Balmoral chicken for my main, delicious.

Unfortunately no room left for a dessert, tempting as they were, so rounded off the meal with a good Americano.

Spot on friendly, attentive service from Vicki and the other young lady working who's name I didn't catch (sorry).

Visited with parents & took advantage to the 2 for £20 food offer that runs Mon-Thurs. Great value with super friendly service as always, thank you Rebecca.

My Mum loved the lasagne with garlic focaccia and my Dad really enjoyed the new chili chicken flatbread. He also particularly appreciated the nice cold pint of John Smith's at a super low price of £3.45 ? They were planning their next visit before we even finished eating.

It's a coffee shop, I like their coffee brand but it's pricey imo.The place itself is clean and tidy, run efficiently, so any wait time is minimal. The staff are polite and will engage really in small talk.Wheelchair accessibility: Although it is on the first floor of the shopping centre there after escalator and I believe a lift to allow disabled patrons use of ships on that level.It also can be accessed from the street level as it ha6d an external entrance, given that the centre is built on a hill. The outside road at that location does rise too the level of the first floor. If that makes sense.The shop itself is all on one level and passages are wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Gota say this is the top chippy in Dunfermline for me at the minute. Been using it solely for nearly 4 months and its been great and consistent. Not sure about a few other odd reviews for Fishbook but may some have their own agenda.

Chips are good, pizzas and calzones like wise and the kebabs are great value for the portion.

The hidden gem on the menu…………potato fritters. Hands down the best iv had from any establishment in Scotland.

Made the trip to this Chinese takeaway after the quality of our closer options went downhill, and it was 100% worth it. The food was amazing—fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly.
