We stay near golden chip and never use it as its vile. In fact most of chippies in dunfermline are poor. But jim jacks wow. Weve been 3 times now and its yummy. Had a small fish supper can of juice and bread and butter for £8.20. They do a large fish tea for 11.20 and its huge. Always busy so you may wait for a table. Service is really good too really friendly. The only chippy il go to now. Definately give it a try

Fish Tea with Mushy Peas, Fantastic! Chips grease free, batter on fish crispy. Fish cooked just right! Tea and bread and butter very good! Good menu selection. We'll be back.

One of our favourite places to go! We come here regularly and we’re never disappointed. The food is always cooked to perfection and the service is always amazing (whether you sit in or take away) I’ve recommended Jim Jacks to so many friends and family as it’s genuinely the best chip shop in Dunfermline - especially the fish goujons! ?

We opted for the 2 small haddock to share. Lovely fish, freshly cooked. Batter was light and crispy. Not greasy! Would recommend

Everything is cooked to order the place is very clean and tidy sitting in is great and it’s good value for money in fact they don’t charge enough for what you get. I have been a few times none and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Had the nicest fish and chips, daughter had battered sausages. So lovely to have a chippy thats still traditional serving bread & butter, hot drink and side as part of the meal! Will definitely be back!

This place is brilliant! They do a great fish supper, and it's always delicious. Delivery is quick and the prices are great too. Well recommended!

We were there on a Saturday night around 7pm. We walked in (there's no booking) and were quickly seated. The eating area was clean and tidy and well presented. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. We ordered a small fish supper, a breaded fish supper, a spicy haggis supper and a red pudding supper. All were tasty and the portions were great value for money with the supper coming with a drink, mushy peas and buttered bread as part of the price. Each dish is around £7-£9 which is very good for a sit in chippy tea. The service is quick and the food is excellent. If you haven't been served your food within 15 minutes, ask about it as the only reason that will happen is if your order is lost!! ?
