Myself and friends had a very nice meal here. Word of warning: If you can't handle hot, spicy food, ask for the korma (which wasn't hot or spicy) or mention to the servers to tone the hottness down a bit, as the food marked spicy is very hot. The restaurant is tucked away up a small side street, which is on a hill, and there are steps inside the restaurant so people who are infirm or in a wheelchair might need assistance. I used to be a regular of The Viceroy about 30 years ago and at that time it was very busy, even at lunch times. Popped in about 9p.m.without a booking (Saturday) 25 February 2023 hoping we could get a table for two however it was surprisingly quiet and we were taken to a table immediately.
